“The Equalizer”, the American action-based crime drama TV series is back and will be airing its sixth episode this week. Developed by Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller, the series premiered its pilot episode on 7th February 2021. It got some mixed reviews for its pilot episode as the people did not really understand the plot behind it. The critics heaped praise on Queen Latifah for her performance but stated that the initial episodes did not really match her level.

Consequently, it managed to get only an average amount of ratings. In fact, now the show has an average score of 84% from Google users whereas an average score of 67% on Rotten Tomatoes. “The Equalizer” is an American crime drama action-based series that airs on CBS. The series is a reboot of the franchise i.e. a film (2014) and a series (1980) that had the same name. It is originally adapted from a 1980 series that Richard Lindheim and Michael Sloan had created. Terri Edda Miller and Andrew W. Marlowe are the developers of the show while Meredith Mills and Zoe Robyn are its producers. Each episode has a runtime of approximately 43-44 minutes and is aired on a weekly basis every Sunday.

CBS Studios, Davis Entertainment, Flavor Unit Entertainment, Martin Chase Productions, Milmar Pictures, and Universal Television are the production companies behind the show with CBS Media Ventures and NBCUniversal Television Distribution acting as its distributors. Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall a.k.a “the Equalizer”: Queen Latifah is an American actress, producer, songwriter, singer, and rapper. She is popular for her works from “Living Single”, “Girls Trip”, and “Star”.

Tory Kittles as Marcus Dante: Tory Kittles is an American actor who has been a part of many famous TV series and films. Some of his best works include “True Detective”, “Colony”, and “Malibu’s Most Wanted”.

Adam Goldberg as Harry Keshegian: Adam Goldberg is an American musician, actor, photographer, and filmmaker. He is very well known for his works in “The $treet”, “Rebirth”, and “Relativity”. 

Liza Lapira as Melody “Mel” Bayani: Liza Lapira is an American actress who is best known for her works in “Huff”, “9JKL”, and “Fast & Furious”.

Lorraine Toussaint as Viola “Aunt Vi” Marsette: Lorraine Toussaint is a Trinidadian actress and producer. She is best known for being a part of movies and shows like “Where I Live”, “Concrete Cowboy”, and “Any Day Now”.

Chris Noth as William Bishop: Chris Noth is an American actor who is popular for playing the role of Mike Logan in “Law & Order”. Some of his best works include “Sex and the City” series, “Elsa & Fred”, and “The Good Wife”.

The Equalizer Episode 6 Preview:

The title for Episode 6 of “The Equalizer” Season 1 is ‘The Room Where It Happens’. In the upcoming episode, you will get to see Mel going undercover as a volunteer for a rising politician. This happens when McCall will try to help a discouraged college student. Someone inside the candidate’s campaign is threatening the student. Moreover, McCall’s worries will increase as Delilah will start hanging out with a young girl who has served time in juvenile detention. Anyhow, she reminds McCall of her own problematic youth. “The Equalizer” Season 1 Episode 6 is going to release on 4th April 2021 i.e. on Sunday at 8 PM ET. You can tune in to the CBS channel during the above-given broadcasting time to watch the episode.
