The Deuce Season 3: Renewal and Production Updates

The Deuce is an American drama series which has been created by David Simon and George Pelecanos. The first season aired on 10th September 2017 on HBO. HBO renewed the series for Season 2 on 19th September 2017 after it gathered positive reviews. The Season 2 started airing on 9th September 2018. And just after just a few episodes into Season 2 renewed the series for a final Season 3.

HBO has yet not released a premiere date for Season 3, however, if we look at Season 1 and Season 2, both have started on 10th and 9th September respectively. So we can safely assume that the third season will start airing around 8th September next year.

Season 3 is expected to return with same core cast as Season 2 if we don’t see any out of the blue deaths in the second season. The cast for Season 3 will most probably include – James Franco in the dual role of Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino – the twin brothers, and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Candy. Also, Dominique Fishback as Darlene, Gary Carr as CC and Daniel Sauli as Tommy Longo is expected to return as well.

The Deuce season 3 is expected to be set in the mid-1980s. As Season 2 followed Season 1 after a six-year gap from 1971 to 1977. We can expect the same in Season 3. Season 3 will explore the legalization of porn and its rise in the 1980s. It will also explore the violence which was caused by the cocaine breakout.

Currently, the Season 3 is under production, and we still don’t have any promo or trailer for Season 3. However, stay tuned with us in future for further updates on The Deuce Season 3.
