The Circle US season 2
The Circle US season 2 premieres on April 14 on Netflix

The Circle or The Circle US ((to differentiate from international versions) is an American reality competition series. With its popular first season streaming on Netflix, the show and its contestants have gained huge love from the viewers. The show earlier announced that there would be The Circle season 2. And here we are to drop all the updates regarding it. It will premiere soon. So, make sure to scroll down to get all the information.

The reality competition series made its debut in January 2020 on Netflix. It is based on the British Tv show of the same name. Furthermore, Netflix also released different versions in France and Brazil, respectively. Clearly, the fan following is huge, and we believe it will grow after the release of The Circle US season 2. Stephen Lambert is one of the executive producers of the show. He is known for launching various Tv formats – Wife Swap, Faking It, The Secret Millionaire, Undercover Boss, and many more.

The first season concluded in just 15 days. Joey Sasso was the winner of the show; she bagged a US$100,000 prize along with the title. Shubham Goel was the runner-up, and Sammie Cimarelli won the Fan Favorite award. Comedian and actress Michelle Buteau host the show, and she will be returning back in season 2 as well.

The Circle (US) Season 2 Release Date And Concept

The Circle US season 2 will release on April 14, 2021, on its original network, Netflix. The show is coming out super soon, so make sure to mark down the date. Being a Netflix original, it will be available in several regions to stream online, which also explains the huge fan base.

The circle Us season 2

The Circle (2020)

Season 2 will release four episodes every week as they decided on the strategy in March. It will allow the fans to digest all the drama caused in every episode.  Netflix VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series Branden Reigg earlier stated that reality shows would premiere new episodes every week instead of releasing everything at once. Doubtlessly it sounds more rational and perfect to the concept.

Earlier, Netflix launched the steamy trailer for The Circle season 2. The upcoming season seems like it is planned more strategically. It will be hard this time to win the prize. As the trailer begins, we see eight new contestants living aloof in confined apartments away from the complete casts. As they begin to survive, they also need to plan tactics, befriend, flirt, and argue to win the race. The race to become the top social influencer. This will earn the winner the title, as well as a grand prize of a whopping $100 000.

The social media-themed show is also compared to shows like Big Brother, Catfish, and even Black Mirror’s episode, “Nosedive.”

Check out the trailer down below:

The Circle US Contestants

The new season will bring new drama, and of course new contestants. However, a familiar face from the Netflix family is also joining the show as a participant. And it is the crossover we never knew we needed.

Chloe Veitch from season 1 of Too Hot To Handle will be joining The Circle Season 2 participant list. We can also find her in the new trailer as she enters the apartment to find other contestants. The other contestants include- Lance Bass, Savannah Palacio, Bryant Wood, Courtney Revolution, Lessa Saint, Terilisha, Lee Swift, and Jack Atkins. Apparently, we are unsure if they will be playing themselves or catfishing others.

The Circle US season 2

Michelle Buteau to return as the host in The Circle US season 2 (2021)

Actress, podcast host, and comedian, Michelle Buteau will return as the host. Being a stand-up comic, she also plays an important role in entertaining the viewers of the show.

The Circle is a show by Motion Content Group and Studio Lambert.  Laura Gibson and Charlie Bennett are the developers of the show, whereas Melia Brown, Saul Fearnley, Ros Coward, and Jonno Richards serve as the executive producers.

The unscripted reality show is going to be crazier this season, so make sure you check out new episodes premiering every week. Also, binge-watch the first season on Netflix if you haven’t yet.
