When it didn’t lead anywhere, he decided to get his weapon tested to the bullet that killed him. The results left him shocked. Talking about results, Ressler was worried about his urine test too. He wanted it to be normal as he was desperate to get back to work. The results came with some shocking conclusions for him too. Here is a look at what went down.
The Blacklist S09 E04 Recap
Previously on The Blacklist Season 9, Red brought the case of Adam McHenry to the team. He was kidnapped, forced to apologize to his best friend before being thrown off the balcony. Red suspects that it’s a work by Avenging Angel. Talking to the best friend, as in Andrew Friesen, who sued but lost. Well, it told the team that he was against him but never wanted to kill him. Red works on getting a painting the Avenging Angel is interested in while the team figures out Angel’s next targets.
What the team didn’t know is that Avenging Angel has already got the targets right where she wanted. They were all brought to a hospital, and it was about taking Derek’s heart, the 76th richest man in America, and then giving it to William, a local worker. Before the Blacklister could do anything, Red arrives in time, believing Derek has done his fair share, too, despite being a sinner. But the Avenging Angel didn’t believe the same. This resulted in Red taking a shot in order to save Derek. The heart of the Avenging Angel was put in use for William.
Amidst all of this, Cooper was busy solving the case of a man who was having an affair with his wife. Someone shot him to death. He takes a look at the homicide report and also goes back to the actual reason his wife started to go for book clubs and all. So he decides to get ballistic research on his gun, and it comes positive. Ressler was taking a urine test as well but wasn’t sure how long he had been off the drugs. On top of that, he desperately wanted to come back. The tests came normal, but the hormone levels were off, and he may have cancer.
