Here, we will discuss everything there is to know about The Blacklist Season 8 Episode 11. It is an American crime thriller television series that Jon Bokenkamp created for NBC. He also serves as one of the executive producers of the show. Davis Entertainment, Universal Television, and Sone Pictures Television collaboratively produce the show. Sony is the main distributor of the series while NBC is the original network. The series premiered on 23 September 2013 and is running its eighth season since 13 November 2020. However, due to the shutdown during the coronavirus pandemic, the series had to stop airing for a while after its second episode.

The Blacklist picked up the eighth season from 22 January 2021, when it aired its third episode. This action-mystery drama received positive reviews for its cast members and plotlines. On 26 January 2021, NBC renewed the series for its ninth season. The series follows Raymond “Red” Reddington. He is a former U.S. Navy officer, who later turned to a high-profile criminal and voluntarily surrenders himself to the FBI after eluding capture for decades. Moreover, he tells the FBI that he has compiled a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world. However, in exchange for the list, he demands immunity from prosecution. Additionally, he insists on working with the rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen.

What Took Place in the Previous Episode?

The title of the episode is “Dr. Laken Perillos” and it aired on 12 March 2021. The name mentioned in the title refers to a torture specialist who is summoned by Neville Townsend. Neville is teaming up with Liz to kill Red. Meanwhile, Red interrogates Bobby, who is Townsend’s money launderer. However, Bobby sends him towards Perillos.

Next, Red is talking to Liz, where he tells her that he is working with Townsend.  Then a group of men tries to kidnap Red while the latter visits Ruddiger. However, the men catch Dembe and get Red to Perillos. Meanwhile,  Raymond visits Bobby’s operation so that the latter can get in touch with Townsend. Bobby is shot in the leg during the operation. Next, Red negotiates with Townsend and offers to trade himself for Dembe.

To go along with the trade, Red drinks a sedative and is taken to Perillos. Meanwhile, we see Ressler arriving at the scene after Perillos took Red. Townsend inquiries about the Sikorsky Archives. Later, Perillos tells Reddington that she wants to make people immune to pain. However, Red is in a critical situation after consuming the poison. He talks to Liz and tries to convince her to give him the antidote. Dembe visits Ruddiger and finds the location where Red is being kept. After arriving, Dembe holds Perillos at gunpoint and forces her to inject the antidote to Red. The episode ends with Perillos being strapped to a chair as the rest try to figure out Townsend’s operation.

The title of the episode is “Captain Kidd”. According to the official synopsis, we will the Task Force attempting to stop an abduction by searching for a “treasure man”. He uses geocaching to hide illicit goods and facilitate the transaction between the warring criminal factions.

We can expect a face-off between Reddington and Cooper. We already know the strange kinship between those two. They have known each other for two decades and have always been at odds with each other. Although Cooper doesn’t approve of Reddington’s methods, he still understands the value Reddington holds to the Task Force as well as the country.

The Blacklist Season 8 Episode 11 will release on 26 March 2021  at 7 pm central standard time slot on NBC.
