What would you do if such a taxi service exists that gives justice to people? The recently airing Korean Drama, Taxi Driver, brought such a thrilling storyline for the viewers. Taxi Driver found its inspiration from Carlos and Lee Jae-Jin’s webtoon of the same name. Le Je-Hoon, Kim Eui-Sung, Esom, and Pyo Ye-Jin are the leading cast for the show. 

The development for the series Taxi Driver took place in December of 2019 and the casting in November of 2020. Even the show’s casting is very interesting, with Lee Je-hoon as special cops agent and justice deliverer. Taxi Driver’s first teaser poster and video got revealed in December of 2020. Taxi Driver: Release Date & Production

Taxi Driver Release date is April 09, 2021, at 22:00 KST or 6:30 p.m. on SBS TV. The show gives thrilling vibes taking everyone on a roller coaster ride to do justice. It is an action crime mystery drama. The other name for the series is Model Taxi, Mobeomtaeks, Red Cage, Mobeomtaxi, Exemplary Taxi, and Deluxe Taxi. Oh Sang Ho is the screenwriter for the series, with Park Joon Woo as the director. The creator behind the drama is Studio S (SBS) and Hong Sung-chang. Han Jung-whan and Song Byung-Joon are the executive producers for the show, with Lee Ok-gyu as its producer. Studio S (SBS) and Creative Leaders Group Eight are the production companies for the drama.

Taxi Driver: Cast

Taxi Driver leading cast includes Le Je-Hoon, Pyo Ye-Jin, Esom, and Kim Eui-Sung. They are depicting Kim Do-gi, Ahn Go-Eun, Kang Ha-na, and Jang Sung-Chul. The supporting cast includes Jang Hyuk-jin, Cho Hyun-woo, Bae Yoo-ram, Park Eun-Seok, Yoo Seung-Mok, Park Sung-Woong, Lee Yoo-Joon, Kim Hyung-mook, Cha Ji-Yeon, Song Young-chang, and Lee Ho-Cheol. They are portraying Choi Kyung-goo, Cho Do-Chul, Park Jin-eon, Park Jin-Hyung, Cho Jin-woo, Park Jin-young, Wang Min-ho, Park Sang-yeop, Baek Sung-mi, and Goo Seok-tae. Guest and special appearances include Cho In, Jo Dae-hee, Tae Hang-ho, Yoon Do-Hyun, Kim Do-Yeon, Lee Yong-Ae, and Song Deok-ho. 

Taxi Driver: Plotline

Taxi Driver is not a typical romantic comedy or family drama. It portrays revenge, action, and thriller and gives justice to the people that the law cannot. Taxi Driver not only showcases the revenge of Kim Do-gi, the main protagonist of the show. But, he also helps other victims for taking revenge and finally give justice. Kim Do-Gi served in the Special Forces and lived honestly. However, his perception of everything changes upon his mother’s murder by a serial killer. He began to live his days in agony. Then, he meets Jang Sung Chul while he was broken and feeling wronged. Jang Sung Chul is the owner of the Rainbow Taxi. 

Rainbow Taxi looks like a common taxi service at the surface. However, it has a secret that the organization helps in taking revenge on those victims, which the law could not protect. Do-Gi joins them and became a star in delivering revenge-call service. On the other hand, Ha Na works as a prosecutor that began suspecting the organization and began her investigation. Their lawless behaviors make her angry. But, they also solve the cases which the law cannot. So, she feels confused by thinking about it at the same time.
