Who doesn’t like to come back home from a tiring day at work and sit down while relaxing with a comedy game show airing on the television? Well, this is what Taskmaster exists for. This game series has been made by Alex Horne who is a comedian. All this while, the show is hosted by Horne himself along with Greg Davies. As for the concept of Taskmaster, it is quite simple and you do not have to scratch much of your head for it. There are five contestants who are mainly comedians. They all try to accomplish a bunch of tasks. During this, Horne dubs the role of an umpire in each of these challenges while Davies judges their performance and awards them with suitable points.
The first time this show came out, its idea was developed by Thorne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe back in 2010. Later through the years, after seeing the popularity of this game, Dave lent out a hand to Horne in order to create a television series for it. Thus, the story of Taskmaster started in 2015. The show has now proven itself to be a pretty successful one among the audience. There even are some international versions of the program created in different parts of the world.

All this while, the producer of the series says that there are more of the elite minds in the United Kingdom that are yet to participate in Taskmaster. Although, the ones which are doing so are throwing themselves at the mercy of the judge while competing for points as well as prizes. All in all, the greatest thing that comes in the form of a winner of Taskmaster is being crowned as its champion. This installment was announced at the time the tenth season was about to come to a close. The show premiered on Channel 4 and the winner of that season was Richard Herring. All this while, we will have our regular Greg Davies as well as Alex Horne hosting the comedy game show.
This installment was set to have the winners of the last five series who will compete against each other. This is some sort of a similar concept that was presented to us in 2017. It also employed the winners from the last five series. It was revealed by Channel 4 earlier that they were not so content with just having new members in the game putting up against each other through the tasks provided. This is why 2021 is going to see The Taskmaster come forth and invite the winners from season 6 to 10 in order to rename the winner as the Champion of the Champions. Channel 4 says that Greg Davies is also going to return for the throne in the form of a judge.
