Sword Art Online Season 3 Episode 2 Release Date, Spoilers

Sword Art Online finally came back with its third season after a long wait. The first episode came out on October 7, 2018. It was a great start to the third season of the series. Before we begin with the post, let me warn you that this post has spoilers for Sword Art Online season 3. If you don’t like reading spoilers, then I suggest that you turn back now. With that out of the way, let’s begin.

In the previous episode, we saw that Kirito along with his friends Eugeo and Alice spent time in an unknown VR environment. The three of them decided to explore a cave, which was on the outskirts of the Human Territory. They reach the boundary of the Dark Territory, and Alice accidentally touched the Dark Territory. Then, she was sentenced to execution by the Integrity Knights.

Alice was taken away even though Kirito tried to stop her from being taken away. Eugeo didn’t do anything despite Kirito asking him to do something. Afterward, Kirito woke up in the real world and he has no memory of the events that happened. We also saw Shino inviting Kirito and Asuna to the upcoming BoB tournament. Both of them agreed to come.

Meanwhile, Kazuto revealed that he is actually working with the Rath Company as a tester for a new Full-Dive technology known as “Soul Translator” or STR. Towards the end of the episode, we saw Kirito and Asuna being attacked by Johnny Black.

The next episode is titled, “The Demon Tree.” After Kirito was injected with the syringe, it will be interesting to see what happens to him and Asuna. Also, Kazuto definitely knows something about Alice. So, in the next episode, we will get more information about Alice.

The episode will be released October 14, 2018. It will be available on streaming sites such as Crunchyroll. However, there are some other sites that enable streaming. But, it is advised to use the official version as it will help the manga and anime community.
