Supergirl was among the many renewals of the CW. It is a very famous superhero TV show, and it was rightly renewed for its fourth season. Supergirl fans will be intrigued by what the next season of the show will bring to the screens.

Regarding the renewal of the series, the CW president had some kind words. Mark Pedowitz hinted that the fourth season would have a lot of good stuff to look forward to; he said, 

“As The CW grows to a six-night, Sunday-Friday schedule next season, we’re proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19. By picking these ten series up for next season, we have an excellent selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come.”

The trailer for the show is out already and you can watch it on YouTube. The trailer gives us a small insight into the new season. There is some news regarding the cast of the series. It has been confirmed that Jeremy Jordan will not be regular however, he will be recurring character in season four. Supergirl Season 4 is set to premiere on October 14, 2018; the release is not far away. Here is the first official synopsis for Supergirl Season 4:

The third season saw Supergirl stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of their home planet, Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her real home is now, here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! The fourth season promises to be full of surprises, action, adventure and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena, and Brainy.
