Station 19 Season 5 Episode 5 will see the show crossing over with ABC’s own long-running show Grey’s Anatomy. The team will be aiding the hospital probably. We will also come to realize what is the status of Andy and Sullivan’s relationship. Sullivan has decided to let go, but what about her? So here is what the show is up to recently. Bishop was pulled off from position after she confronted the officials for her ways of dealing with things. But at the same time, it had a lot to do with Sullivan, who wanted to push himself ahead.
So neither of them go the position, though, but it definitely caused a rift between Sullivan and his wife, Andy. She wasn’t happy that he betrayed a friend. Since then, the couple hasn’t been on the same page and away from each other, also on the verge of divorce. Recently conducted sessions by Diane Lewis on how to handle people with mental issues turned out to be learning lessons for both. Andy on her side realized what went wrong, but it may be too late now. Here is a look at what happened in the previous episode before we move to the next.
Station 19 S05 E04 Recap
Previously on Station 19 Season 5, we opened up with the return of Diane Lewis. She is here for Crisis One. A session to teach the officers how to handle people with mental issues and talk them down. Instead of going to your gun in the first place. The session began, and Lewis ended up picking Sullivan and Andy to portray couples with marital issues. Unfortunately, the couple has been having marital issues in real life, and it became evident as they were sportive enough to volunteer. Luckily emergency called in before things could’ve escalated, leading Bishop to pick up Sullivan on her team.
So Bishop and Sullivan were helping a guy who got stuck inside a door through a pet’s way. As this went on, the session was about to fail until Diane pumped Miller up. Gibson and Maddox were next to follow it in a scenario where they are co-workers. Maddox has locked himself up inside a room. Things escalate on Bishop and Sullivan’s side when the man is stuck, and his wife starts fighting. Once he is rescued by the cutting door, they find that he is severely injured, leading the duo to take him to the hospital.
Back to the sessions, Ben managed to follow everything Diane suggested. Soon an emergency called in, and Miller insisted since Jack didn’t get a proper chance. He asked him to try the same out there in the field. A boy named Miles won’t get up from a bus and didn’t want anyone to come near him. Jack started out slowly and a little bumpy but managed to calm down the boy.
Apart from all of this, Bishop and Sullivan once saw the couple fighting. It reminded them of their respective marriages. Sullivan was wondering if he should let go while Andy wasn’t ready to. Diane believed she might’ve overreacted. Sullivan closed the show by signing the divorce papers and handing them to Andy.
