In August this year, Starship confirmed that the company would be releasing a new girl group. Back then, the hype was even more as fans believed that some former IZ*ONE member would be a part of IVE as well. Starship Entertainment New Kpop Girl Group -IVE Members and Details
After four months of the announcement, on November 1, Starship Entertainment launched the social media accounts for its new Kpop girl group- IVE. The SNS accounts opened a door for Kpop fans to know more about the upcoming events related to the IVE Kpop group. Unknown to the public, Starship announced the group’s name via an SNS account and dropped a brand new logo.
In the latest tweet by Starship, they shared the social media accounts of IVE. However, one thing to notice was Japan accounts for the girl group, hinting that it will also explore the Japanese music industry. Almost all the Kpop groups expand their business into the Japanese border. Moreover, other Starship groups- MONSTA X and WSJN are also famous in the Anime country.
Getting back to IVE, it has unveiled the first member of the group – Ahn Yu Jin. The former IZ*ONE member will be a part of the new girl group, IVE. Earlier, when Starship confirmed debuting a new girl group, it was unclear which IZ*ONE member (Ahn Yu Jin or Jang Won Young) will join the group. Now, they have finally revealed who the first member is. Rumor has it that another IZ*ONE member, Jang Won Young, will also be a part of the IVE.
Yu-Jin joined IZ*ONE after competing and securing 5th place in the Mnet’s Produce 48. She is only 18 years old (September 1, 2003) but is a mature artist. MONSTA X- one of the most hyped Korean boy bands is also a part of the Starship family. Joining them are WSJN and Cravity. Earlier, the list was also joined by IZ*ONE, Sistar, and Boyfriend.
The solo artists include K. Will, I.M (MONSTA X), and Jeong Se-Woon. On the other hand, the duos have Mind U and Duetto. All the artists signed under Starship are collectively known as Starship Planet. The company has tied up partnerships with Being Group (Japan), Intertwine (Germany), Kiss Entertainment (Japan), Yuehua Entertainment (China), and Universal Music Japan.
Starship has managed to stay among the top Entertainment companies from South Korea.
