Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Teaser Trailer Launched

At last, after the long wait the teaser trailer of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is out there in the open and it has almost got everyone confused and hooked at the same time. The Star Wars fans are still trying to figure out how things will unfold in this movie as it is set to conclude not only the Skywalker story but another trilogy story as well.

It will be damn Interesting to witness how this movie is going to stir the closure of more than one story in one movie. This is why the teaser trailer is so confusing because it is hinting of different stories all at once. These are certainly exciting times for the fans of this franchise. The movie will wrap up the storyline that has now started about 40 damn long years ago.

Well, certainly we can say that we lived long enough to witness the end of this storyline. The director of this amazing movie is J. J. Abrams. J. J. Abrams has also partially written the script of the movie as well alongside Chris Terrio. The production company of this movie are Lucasfilm Ltd. and Bad Robot Productions. The distribution of the movie is going to be handled by Walt Disney Studios, Motion Pictures.

The cast of the movie includes Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, etc. This movie will wrap up the Star Wars sequel trilogy preceded by Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Star Wars Episode IX

Not only that this will be the ninth instalment which will serve as the closure of Skywalker story as I mentioned earlier. The storyline of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is set a year after the events of Star Wars:

The Last Jedi. Unfortunately for fans, the movie will not be released on 24 May 2019 as announced earlier and the new release date for the movie is scheduled to be 20 December 2019. So, there is a fair bit of extra time that Star Wars fans will have to bite further. It has also been revealed that Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX will be honoured by using unseen footage that had been shot earlier in Star Wars Episode VII.

Her daughter seems to have provided this footage to the production. Nonetheless, the trailer seems pretty damn interesting and let us hope that the movie blows our minds away.
