Soul Calibur 6: Release Date, Platforms, Details

Soul Calibur 6 is one of the highly anticipated releases of this year. The game has kept the fans on the hooks, and they will soon be able to experience the game firsthand. Soul Calibur 6 is going to be released on October 19, 2018. The release date is just two days away, and fans are jumping up and down with glee. The platforms for the game have also been confirmed. The game is going to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.

The Soul Calibur game is going feature a very famous name from the gaming world. The character that I’m talking about is Geralt of Rivia. He is a very famous character, and he is actually a part of the upcoming Soul Calibur game. The story trailer for Soul Calibur highlights several characters, which include returning fighters Taki, Siegfried, Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua, Kilik, and Grøh. All of them have gathered in order to complete the quest to either protect or gain the Soul Edge.

This is the sixth main game, and it actually goes through the events of the original Soul Calibur. The trailer also revealed that there are two different kinds of editions of the game. The first one is the deluxe edition, and the other one is the collector’s edition. First, let me discuss the contents of the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition will have a copy of Soul Calibur 6, a metal case with a built-in sound box, a compilation soundtrack and there is also a season pass. It also has three more playable characters along with a season pass bonus character, and finally, it will also have two armor packs.

The collector’s edition has almost all the items mentioned in the deluxe edition. Adding to the items, there is a 120-page art book, a collector’s edition box and there is also a 12-inch Sophitia figure. Oddly enough, it seems that there is no season pass in the collector’s edition.
