SNL: Saturday Night Live Season 44: Who Will Host The Premiere? Release Date, News

Over the past few months, SNL may have left a void in the weekend TV schedule for us. But we shouldn’t have to wait for long, Saturday Night Live is back on NBC in this month only. The question is, who’s to host the premiere episode of SNL Season 44?

Well, the announcement came to us a long time ago. NBC made it official that Adam Driver will host and star in the premiere episode of SNL Season 44. This isn’t the first time; Driver is doing something like this. He’s hosted the series before in 2016. Adam Driver isn’t the only one here. Kanye West will join him in similar efforts too. West has been a musical guest on SNL 6 times before. While driver will usher viewers from scene to scene, Kanye will take musical breaks from the stage.

This is the first time, Driver and Kanye doing something like this together. They have worked separately, never overlapped before. Given that Kanye and Adam are bigwigs now and have busy schedules to follow, it’s reasonable that they haven’t found time for SNL since 2016. The Driver was seen in BlacKkKlansman, and as for Kanye, his album Ye came out in June of 2018.

Season 44 Release Date

SNL Season 44: Premiere Date, News

Season 44 of SNL will return on September 29 will Adam and Kanye, of course on NBC. While fans are excited for Adam Driver, turns out they don’t appreciate Kanye on SNL that much.

Besides, we’ll also see the recurring role of President Donald Trump played by Alec Baldwin. Ego Nwodim will be the only new feature player of SNL for Season 44. Nwodim is a regular on Comedy podcast Comedy Bang Bang. She will take time to find her feet on SNL, but she’s a talent, as is evident from Comedy Bang Bang and Improv4Humans. SNL also brings guests such as Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen, Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller, and Bill Hader as Anthony Scaramucci. Nowdim’s talents in SNL could be really helpful, and audiences might get a break from the Politically dominating news!

SNL Season 44: Cast

Ego Nwodim is the only new player here. Rest will remain the same, such as Beck Bennett, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Mikey Day, Leslie Jones, Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseñor, Heidi Gardner, Kyle Mooney, Chris Redd, McKinnon, Strong, and Thompson. Only Luke Null. Kate McKinnon is ending her 7-year contract with SNL and Season 43 didn’t do well either. It looks like SNL has to hunt new talent and let them spin the show in new directions to stay.
