Silicon Valley has done really well so far, and it has done enough to get another season. That’s right. The show has been renewed by HBO for its sixth season, and it will be interesting to see what happens in the new season of the show. HBO announced that they would continue with their longest serving comedy series. One of the top HBO executives talked about the show’s renewal. He said:
“While Barry has delighted audiences with its deft interplay of comedy and drama, Silicon Valley remains as brilliantly & frighteningly prescient as ever. We are absolutely thrilled that these two smart, funny shows are returning for another season.”
Silicon Valley finished airing the fifth season on May 13, 2018, and it had a total of eight episodes. So far there hasn’t been any updates regarding the release of the sixth season. We can expect the new season to come out in 2019. It may be released in the summer but, it may be shifted back.
Mike Judge, who is the co-creator of the series has hinted that the sixth season might be the last. He said that the fifth season would be the second-to-last. But, things might change in an instant. He said “That’s how we were talking when we were setting up this season finale, just to help us in writing. But you never know. It could be that it gets to six and someone has some idea.”
Now moving to the cast of the series. Most of the main cast will be back for the sixth season. Here is the possible cast for the sixth season —
Thomas Middleditch as Richard Hendricks
Martin Starr as Bertram Gilfoyle
Josh Brener as Nelson ‘Big Head’ Bighetti.
Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh Chugtai
Zach Woods as Jared Dunn.
Amanda Crew as Monica Hall
Matt Ross as Gavin Belson
It is surely going to be another interesting season, and the fans will be hoping that the series goes beyond the sixth season.
