2019 is turning out to be a rather splendid year for all the manga enthusiasts. First, there was an announcement that the Shonen Jump app would allow the fans to read the new chapters of ongoing manga for free. This was a really huge in order to stop the illegal sites which allow you to read the manga before it comes out. Shueisha has once delivered a huge blow to the illegal sites as they released their MANGA Plus app earlier today.
The app was released in every country except in Japan, China, and South Korea as they already have their own services. The app is available on both iOS and Android devices, and the website for the service is also online. A Spanish version of the service is planned to be released in February and March.
The new service has a total of 50 titles, and it includes 13 completed series. They will also add more titles to the service. The service publishes new chapters of the manga that are still ongoing from Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Jump Square magazine, and the Shonen Jump+.
MANGA Plus is free to download and use, and the users can also purchase the compiled book volumes. A portion of the revenue will go to the manga authors.
