Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Hiatus – Season 4 Release Date

Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 has been an anime of the year contender in my books, and I’ve enjoyed every single episode that we have gotten so far. The show’s third season was widely recognized to have the potential to the best one yet, and I think that’s a fair assessment now when you look at the quality we got in this season.

Of course, there is more to come from Attack on Titan Season 3. The 12th episode of the season, titled “Outside the Walls” will air on Sunday, 14 October 2018. However, this is going to be the last of Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 that we’ll see for a while. In case you don’t know it yet Shingeki no Kyojin is going on a Hiatus after this week’s episode.

That’s right; we have to wait for more Titan-killing action. Exactly how long we have to wait is unknown right now, but we have a fair idea about when you can expect it to return.

Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 won’t return in October; that much is certain. We could see it back in November, but the chances of that happening are very slim. Instead, I think Shingeki no Kyojin will return in January 2019. Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 is actually a split-cour anime, just like Tokyo Ghoul re and Overlord have been this year.

The second cour will not be out before January, so that’s what I’m putting my money on. For those of you who are waiting for Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2 or Shingeki no Kyojin Season 4 as you may call it now, to return, you will have to wait for a few more months.

However, the wait will be worth it. Shingeki no Kyojin Season 4 is going to be the most intense one that you will have ever seen, so just sit back and wait patiently. We still have Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Episode 13 to catch on Sunday. I’ve already talked in my other posts about how great the upcoming episode is going to be.

A total of 15 known Animation Directors are working on it, and the finale of the season is storyboarded by Norihiro Naganuma, the person who directed Mahoutsukai no Yome. In other words, the finale may just be the best episode of Shingeki no Kyojin ever. So, keep an eye out for it.
