Shaman King (2021) Episode 34 reveals Asakura Yoh vs. High-ranked Demon with Gu-man helping Asakura Yoh rescue Anna, who got kidnapped by a high-ranked Demon. Gu-man reminds Yoh that someone might be waiting for him on Osorezan. The two realize that in the mountains it will be cold and they need to change their clothes. Matamune reminds Yoh that his Furyoku is nearly depleted. From Shaman King’s (2021) latest episode, Yoh learns that he is not ready to fight a Demon even though he is a Shaman. This happened before Yoh formed his team in the past when he first met with Anna.
Matamune reveals that another Demon can defeat a Demon. Yoh gets angry and wonders what he should do to save Anna since he is not a Demon. Gu-man wonders why Yoh is shouting and talking alone. Matamune is a spirit ghost that only a Shaman can see and hear, meaning that Gu-man can’t do that. Asakura Yoh decided to try his best, and Matamune revealed a chance. Matamune explained how they would defeat that Demon. Later the trio arrives at the mountain and confronts Demon Red.
Demon Red wonders how those two reached the mountains. But he is not worried since he has consumed a few souls that boost his strength. Asakura Yoh reminds Demon Red about Anna and demands to show them Anna. Demon Red reveals that Anna might be alive, but he doesn’t know where Anna is. He adds that he abuses Anna when they arrive at the mountains to attract and collect Demon Spites. Asakura Yoh gets scared, and Demon Red says that Anna’s Furyoku never gave out. But when he got his belly full, Anna wandered off somewhere.

Anna begins to shed tears, reminding the two that they don’t know what she has been through and have never experienced being abandoned. Matamuno realizes that Hao suffered just like Anna since they went through the same path.

Asakura Yoh agrees and uses Soul Integration that surprises Anna and Demon Red. He said farewell to Matamune, and Demon Red wonders how the two find his weakness. Matamune turns into a powerful weapon that Yoh uses to defeat Demon Red. Before Demon Red was defeated, he saw a gigantic blade that Yoh wielded to slash him. Demon Red thought that it was a joke, and Yoh reveals that it was Demon Slayer. But Yon made Demon Red die a painful death using Ultra Senji Ryakketsu: Cresent Moon Purification.
