Sex Education Season 3 Release Date, First Glimpse, and More
Sex Education season 3 is releasing on September 17, 2021. The third season will be back with eight episodes, just like the previous two seasons on its original network, Netflix. Sex Education first made its debut on January 11, 2019. The show received a positive response from both audience and the critics. Following the success of season 1, season 2 premiered on January 17, 2020. And now, the third installment is already to debut. New seasons of the comedy-drama debuts every year in January. However, this year, due to the coronavirus, the Netflix show was made to halt the production like all the other projects.

The new season has given us an insight into what the characters are up to. Apparently, all of them are sported in uniforms, hinting us a new twist in season 3. But, the fans are happy to see all of their favorite characters return for season 3.
The cast of season 3 includes Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Jean (Gillian Anderson), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood), Adam (Connor Swindells), Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling), Ola (Patricia Allison), Lily (Tanya Reynolds), and Headmaster Groff (Alistair Petrie). Olivia (Simone Ashley), Ruby (Mimi Keene), and Anwar (Chaneil Kular) will also be seen.

Apart from this, season 3 is welcoming new faces. Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) will play Peter Groff, headmaster Groff’s more successful older brother. Jemima Kirke (Girls) will be seen portraying the role of Hope, the school’s new headmistress. Hope used to be a Moordale student herself, so she has big plans for the institute. Lastly, we have Dua Saleh. She will play Cal, a gender-non-conforming songwriter and recording artist.
Season 2 additions Rahim (Sami Outalbali), Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu), and Isaac (George Robinson) will also be seen in the show.
The Plot- What Will Happen After Otis Said “It’s You”
The fans of Sex Education are dying to know about Maeve and Otis’ love story. In the season 2 finale, we spotted Otis confessing his feeling for Maeve over a text. However, Maeve’s new neighbor Isaac, who is also interested in her secretly deleted Otis’s message. So, what can we expect?
Well, we are sure that there is going to a time jump. Series’ star, Asa Butterfield, previously spilled some news on season 3. He said that Otis is back to school, but he now has different things to worry about. Moreover, he is now much older and a bit sassy. But, ended with reassuring fans that Otis is still tragically awkward.
On the other hand, Otis’s mom, Jean is pregnant with a baby but, who is the father? We will certainly know about it in the next season.
