In Purgatory, the battle between Meliodas and the Demon King continues. Meliodas wants to return to the Mortal Plane.
Wild attacks the Demon King, but he got sent flying, and Ban checks if he is okay. The Demon King started to attack Ban and Meliodas. Previously in Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 Episode 8
The Demon king miss and Ban attack with Physical Hunt that got repelled away. Ban notices that his powers are starting to be drawn away. The Demon King said that when he is guarding the gate, no one passes. Meliodas replies that he is not the one to decide that. Meliodas attacks with Full Counter that got deflected away.
Ban comments that the Demon King has even absorbed the magic deflected at him. He asks Captain what this guy’s magic is made of. Ban is wondering why their attacks won’t work on the Demon King. Meliodas replies that his magic shares its name with one of his titles as The Demon King. He said that the Demon King is The Ruler.

Mortal Plane
Wild rushes in with Zig Zag Wild and jump up to mid-air, where he creates Spinning Wild. The Demon King catch Wild and told him that he never learn. He throws Wild away. He unleashed a blow that blasted them far away from the gate. Meliodas wakes up and asks where that bastard is. Wild said that they got blown away from him.
Meliodas bowed his head and said maybe he is not meant to return to the Mortal Plane. Wild comments that it is not like Sir Meliodas to say something that. He also said he is committed to not giving up until he sees his little brother again. Meliodas said he is not against them returning back. But all he wants to see is for Elizabeth’s curse to die. Ban reveals that Elizabeth’s curse has already started to show effects. If Meliodas loses his heart, it is all over.
Ban hugged Meliodas and told him that they’re getting out of her no matter what. They are going to save their girls, and he will bring Eline back to life. Meliodas will break the princess’ curse. He slaps Meliodas for not showing that he is happy with him. Meliodas said that it is not going to be simple like that. They both run and head back to where the Demon King is. When they reach there, the Demon King said he is tired of listening to them.
Demon King vs. Meliodas
He pointed his blade to them and said the more they try to steal his power, the more he becomes powerful. The Demon King told them no matter how powerful their attacks are; they will never scratch his skin. Meliodas unleashed Revenge Counter that just made dust on the Demon King’s face. The Demon King comments that Melioda’s moves are just imitations he learned from Chandler.
Seven Deadly Sins Season 4
He told him that if he doesn’t use his original magic, he won’t be able to fight him. But it is not possible since Meliodas is afraid. He landed a hammer punch that smashed Meliodas with the grounds. The fight continues for a week, and Meliodas didn’t give up on his friends. But they kept on getting smacked and sent flying. Ban asks Meliodas how many times did they try. Meliodas replies that itis too many counts.
Wild reveals that they have tried 6093 out 0f 6093 and never won a single battle. Sixty years have now passed when the trio has challenged the Demon King. But they have never reached his feet. Ban slaps Wild butt that was wounded, and it healed. He realizes that for the past sixty years, he has been stealing the Demon King’s power. That made Wild’s wound heal instantly. Ban thinks that with power like this, it will be like a piece of cake to revive Elaine.
Immortality
They figured out something and head back to challenge the Demon King. He can’t believe that they’re in front of him after all that beatings. The use of Reversal weakens the Demon King. He said that even though he is weak, he will never let Meliodas reach the Mortal Plane. Ban hold the Demon King using an attack called Gift. Meliodas reach the door that leads s them to the other side, but he realizes that Ban is caught.
He heads back and saves Ban and told him to go he will stop the Demon King. They mane to fool the Demon King, and Ban got teleported in front of Elizabeth and others. He told them he did his task; they must go where Captain is. Ban heads to the battle where Elaine is. He defeated the demons by just folding his fingers, and he catches Elaine, who was falling. Ban use ”Gift” to revive Elaine, and it worked, but he lost his immortality.
