Seven Deadly Sins finished its second season with an amazing ending. It seems that the show has gone under the radar because of the other shows that were ongoing. It’s kind of sad that Seven Deadly Sins didn’t get much attention like My Hero Academia or Attack on Titan. In this post, I’m going to talk about the third season of Seven Deadly Sins. Before we start the post, let me warn you that this post has spoilers for Seven Deadly Sins. If you don’t like to read spoilers, then you should stop reading right now. With that out of the way, let’s begin with the post.
The second season of Seven Deadly Sins was focused on the revival of the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments wreaked havoc after their revival. Among these commandments are Meliodas’ own brothers. It was a big shock to see how they were able to overwhelm Meliodas. No one could see it coming as Meliodas was considered second to none.
However, the highlight of the second season was the introduction of Escanor. The person who is considered the strongest member of the Seven Deadly Sins. Escanor fought against one of the strongest members of the Ten Commandments, Estarossa. The fight was one of the best fights of the calendar year. Escanor used his power to defeat Estarossa in the end.
The third season of Seven Deadly Sins hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, there is hope that the third season might be released in 2019. The second season took too long but, I think it will be a different case for the third season. I believe that the production company will know that taking another long break is not something that the fans would want.
A movie of the Seven Deadly Sins has also been released which focuses on the events after the war with Hendrickson. The script has been written by Suzuki himself. So, if you want some more Seven Deadly Sins on your screen, give the movie a shot.
