See Season 2 just wrapped up its Payans vs. Trivantians war, and we wonder if Episode 9 is coming around for the aftermath. So yes, the Trivantians literally walked to the home of Payans to bang on their doorway with a large number of soldiers. Payans on their side found themselves on the downhill with a lack of manpower. That was all until Bow Lion and Paris led the way to bring more than enough tribes to join this battle on Payans and Witchfinder’s side. So enemies stood tall together against a bigger enemy.
It was now or never, as Baba Voss called the War Cry. All of the tactics that Payans planned work as they lured the Triviantians into their traps. The only thing was, a war also called for sacrifices as some of the people died. In the end, it was a standoff between Baba Voss and Edo Voss to determine the conclusion of the war. Baba also believed this was his last war towards the end of the episode. So here is a look at who won the war and what went down post that. Also, what can we expect from See Season 2 Episode 9 if it’s coming, and if not, whether Season 3 is happening?
See S02 E08 Recap
The eighth episode of See Season 2 opened the beginning of the all-out war between Payans and Trivantians. Payans found them on the weaker side with fewer people to fight in comparison with Trivantians despite having the Witchfinders on their side. This was a concern until Paris and Bow brought The Valier, The Salvin, The Yeliss, and The Reyenne, which means more than 100 mountain warriors, which will be twice the Witchfinders joining them too. Meanwhile, Maghra confronts Kane about the baby she has and promises to take him. Kane fights back as she promises to be free someday before she does that.
Baba Voss calls for a war cry and talks to the warriors surrounding him that they are fighting for love and family, unlike the Trivantians. As the enemy wanted to break the gate, Payans opened it for them. Thus, slowly taking them out one by one by stealth and arrows. Triviantians also came with the advantage of having a kid with sight on their side, much like Kofun and Haniwa on Payans. But even Payans answered it, leaving Edo Voss no option to call an all-out war.

The Payans easily managed to lure most of the Trivantians into their trap to burn them away in the first half. The kid on the Trivantians side was the only problem until Kofun took care of him by knocking him out. In the process of saving Kofun, Toad lost his life. For the second time, Payans lured Trivantians on an ice surface and took the ropes surrounding them before Baba and others dropped heavy rocks on it. Thus, the majority of Trivantians drowned under cold water as the ice broke.
Some Trivantians have burnt away while some were underwater. This called in Edo Voss to signal for one-on-one combat with Baba. The combat ended with Baba taking the victory. The only thing Edo wanted to know before dying was if their father ordered Baba to kill him. Baba said yes. Haniwa letting Wren go caused a fight between her and Kofun. The war came to an end, and families reunited.
The next day, Maghra made Tamacti Jun the High General of The Payan Army. The Witchfinders will also become Officers of Royal Guard from now on as Maghra declares there are no witches anymore. With this change, Tamacti Jun also gives his army an option to stay or leave. Whatever they choose will be honored. The episode closes with Baba leaving the place as he feels war is over for him. Jerlamarel’s son comes up with new explosives, and Kane slits the throat of Paris as the latter comes to take care only of her only for the baby.
