After Kim Young Dae departed from the School 2021 drama, fans have been waiting to see who will take his role. Thankfully, the School 2021 drama cast lineup is now successfully updated. KBS2 TV has found its new male lead. Moreover, we hope the production will also begin soon. As per the recent updates, Kim Yo Han, Choi Yi Hyun, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, and Chu Young Woo are the fresh prominent cast members. Chu Young Woo is the latest entry to the show. And KBS2 has revealed all the details on his character.
The KBS2 TV production crew dropped details on the filming of the drama. According to them, the pre-production is completed. Hence, they will finally begin filming. School 2021 took a long time to wrap up pre-production. But, the production crew claims that the show is now more than solid. Also, they promised to fulfill the standards the “School” series hold. Now, with filming beginning soon, we can expect the drama to release in 2021 finally.

School 2021 Drama Cast Line Up
1. Choo Young Woo
On July 27, industry representatives announced that Choo Young Woo would join the cast of School 2021. He will take upon the role of Jung Young Joo, a transfer student with a secretive past and a hidden connection with the main lead and protagonist, Gong Ki Joon. Choi Young Woo made his big debut in 2021 with You make Me Dance. Also, he has bagged a support role in the upcoming police procedural Police University.
2. Kim Yo Han
Kim Yo Han will play the protagonist, Gong Ki Joon, and the lead of the show. Gong Ki Joon is a student who lost his dream of becoming a pro taekwondo player due to injury. But, he is still determined towards his goals and simultaneously manages school and work. Although he is a brilliant student, he is unclear about what to do next in the future.
Kim Yo Han is a member of the boy group WEi, and stole hearts with his performance in A Love So Beautiful. Fans are excited to see him once again take on the role of a high school student.
3. Choi Yi Hyun
Choi Yi Hyun will play the passionate Jin Ji Won, a confident and bold student with a set dream. However, she frequently gets into conflict with her mother because of her college plans. Choi Yi Hyun is popularly known for playing the intern, Jang Yoon Bok in Hospital Playlist 1 & 2. Also, she has got herself a central role in the upcoming drama, All of Us Are Dead.
4. Hwang Bo Reum Byeol
Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will be playing Kang Seo Young, who is preparing for the entrance exams to get into the top five colleges of the country. The 2019 Miss Chunhyang beauty pageant made her hot-shot debut in 2020 with The World of My 17. She then appeared in So Not Worth It, Can I Step In, and more. Hwang is also a part of the upcoming drama Dear M.
Kim Kang Min and Seo Hee Seon will also appear as the main cast. The duo will play Ji Ho Sung and Go Eun Bi, respectively.

School 2021 Plot and Release Date
