Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who took the name Samantha Ruth Akkineni after her marriage, is an established actress who works primarily in the Telugu and Tamil film industry. She was born on 28 April 1987. She has acted in around 45 films in her illustrious career. Furthermore, she was pursuing a degree in commerce and also did part-time assignments modeling to earn extra cash. Due to her beauty and incredible work in this circuit, she was soon offered several Telugu film roles, and she finally made her debut in 2010. Her first film was a Telugu romance film called Ye Maaya Chesave.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who is well known by his fans as Naga Chaitanya, is an actor who mainly works in the Telugu cinema industry. Chaitanya was born on 23 November 1986. He has acted in around 24 films and is well known amongst Telugu film fans. The actor made his debut in 2009 with the film Josh. He then worked in the film Ye Maaya Chesave, which also starred his future to be wife Samantha. It was during this film that they met and began dating just after the movie was released. Chaitanya has won Filmfare Award South for Best Debut in his movie Josh. Chaitanya has also won the Nandi award for Best Supporting award, as well as the SIIMA award for Best Actor Critics.

Reasons behind Samantha and Chaitanya’s divorce
Samantha and Chaitanya met during the filming of their movie Ye Maaya Chesave. They both hit it off during the filming and began dating then. After dating for about seven years, the two got engaged in a ceremony that took place in Hyderabad in 2017. Then, later on, 6 October 2017, they got married first in Goa according to the Hindu customs, and then with the Christian customs, they married on 7 October 2017. Samantha then took Chaitanya’s last name, Akkineni, and officially became a member of his family.
The couple was married happily for around four years until recently. Samantha stopped using the name Akkineni on her social media handles in July 2021. This led to speculations about their possible separation. This was then confirmed on 2 October 2021 through Twitter, just four days short of their fourth wedding anniversary.
