What can we expect from Finale? When is the Release Date?

The Rick and Morty Season 5 finale release date is on September 5, 2021. After airing episode 8, we all witness a promo in which Morty is coming alone from the green portal alone. It seems our beloved Morty went on a lone wolf trip. Then he sees the Portal Gun’s fuel canister is marked. So to fill it up, he adds lime juice. However, Rick catches Morty’s trick, and the two end up in a raged argument. Finally, Rick will be pulling out the “Wheel of Better Things than Morty” to look for Morty’s replacement. Meanwhile, the narrator in the promo says, “What is Rick without Morty?”

We also get to know from the promo that the season finale will be a one-hour-long special. However, a Twitter post from back in May 2021 revealing all the episodes’ names of Season 5. Further, after episode 8, there will be two episodes, “Forgetting Sarick Mortshall” and “Rickmurai Jack”. Thus, there is a possibility both Episodes 9 and 10 will release back-to-back as a two-parter on September 5.

From episode 9’s title, we can predict this episode is a spoof of the movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,”  where a musician named Peter Bretter gets dumped by his girlfriend, Sarah Marshall. Therefore goes on a trip to Hawaii to forget her, but there he encounters his ex-girlfriend. Thus, we can expect something similar, and Rick might go on an adventure with Morty’s replacement to forget Morty. However, under some special circumstances, Morty comes across while on that adventure.

Episode 10’s title is a clear parody of Samurai Jack, as the samurai from this series went on a time travel journey and how he defeats his nemesis and protects the world. We can expect this episode to be continuity of Episode 9, where Rick and Morty might go on some sort of time travel and face an evil entity, which can be Phoniexperson or even Evil Morty. Whatever might happen, the Rick and Morty Season 5 Finale is going to be a thrilling one-hour ride.
