Ray Donovan is an American crime drama film that recently dropped on some streaming services as well as on Showtime. After some great discussions and hustles, the creators of this film decided to give it a digital release. Ray Donovan Movie: Plot
Before starting with the plot synopsis of this movie, we would like to inform you that the content ahead is going to be full of spoilers. This film opened with a confusing note where all the Donovan brothers: Ray, Bunchy, Terry, and Daryl, were seen recalling some precious moments they had spent with their father in the past. But very soon, Bridget interrupted their precious discussion.
He started scolding Ray for very easily forgetting the deaths by indulging himself in alcohol. Ray found it really disturbing and, after a small break, leaves that place. He leaves the house late at night and heads towards Boston. Meanwhile, Mickey was having a briefcase that was full of some really valuable documents. He tries selling that briefcase at a good cost in order to make a good profit. Mickey went for a meeting but forgets to notice that his son Ray is following him. Meanwhile, Mickey’s contact took hold of Ray, and an aggressive fight occurred, which led to the killing of the attackers.
Even Ray was badly injured. Ray pointed his gun towards Mickey, but it was an empty gun. Mickey got to know that and he went from there to sell the briefcase Sullivans at just 25% of his asking price. Then there was a small flashback that showed Ray getting the first few criminal experiences from his father. It showed a Hollywood producer, Ezra seeking help from young Ray by paying him a hefty amount to keep an eye on Sean Walker and Mickey.

Ray Donovan Ending Explained
After reading the plot synopsis, you all might have got a rough idea of what exactly happened in the movie till now. The ending of this movie was even more exciting as it ended on a very high note. These cliffhangers gave rise to a lot of questions in the minds of the viewers. Hence, we are here to answer all these questions that you are curious to know. The biggest doubt amongst the fan is whether Ray Donovan has died or is he alive? At the end, when you saw that, Ray meets Molly Sullivan in order to know whether Mickey has returned the briefcase or not. Same time, Molly asked Ray what he had done with Molly’s father. But Ray remained silent at that point.
When Ray was preparing to leave, Molly took out a gun and shot Ray in his stomach. Ray somehow succeeded in escaping from there, and he reached his motel. Mickey followed him to the motel, and he was shown concerned about his son. But suddenly, Mickey was shot by his grandaughter Bridget who came to the motel to see his father. The police arrived at the situation, and the movie ended with giving different aspects about Ray’s death. So, we would like to make it clear that at the end, Ray was shown being taken in an ambulance. So, from that point of view, we can say that he was still alive but grievously injured.
