Tokyo Ghoul is one of the most popular manga throughout the world. Recently, it was confirmed that Sui Ishida’s legendary manga is going to be turned into yet another live action movie. The announcement about the movie was made on the official website of the live-action film. The movie is titled, Tokyo Ghoul 2 and it has been slated for a release in 2019.
Tokyo Ghoul 2nd Live Action Movie Updates
The first live action movie premiered on July 3, 2017, at the Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Then, it debuted in Berlin on July 7, and it finally debuted in Japan at the Marunouchi Piccadilly theater in Chiyoda on July 10. The movie was theatrically released in Japan on July 29, 2017. The film ranked #5 in its opening weekend in Japan.

Shū is a character who appears in the manga but, was not in the previous movie. Maika has replaced Funika Shimizu for the role of Tōka. Funika has quit acting. The release date of the movie hasn’t been announced yet, but the fans will be eager to see whether or not the staff can do a better job this time.
Ishida Sui earlier announced that Tokyo Ghoul: re would be ending. The announcement was made all the way back in February. The second season of Tokyo Ghoul: re has been confirmed. A key visual for the second season of Tokyo Ghoul re has already been released.
