The upcoming sports show in SBS, Racket Boys, has recently dropped an exciting first teaser, posters, and a look into the leading characters. Jo Yeong-gwang is the director of the series, with Jeong Bo-hoon helming as the scriptwriter. Racket Boys takes place in the Haenam Seo Middle School and depicts the badminton club of the school. However, the club is not very much in good shape. The storyline is based on the theme of developing the members of the club as national-level players. They will face many challenges and also learn to grow in the process.
The teaser looked so much warm and funny. It will be interesting to see how the players grow their talents. They will have to work hard and take part in a junior athletic championship. Furthermore, they have to learn to grow as a team. Racket Boys will consist of sixteen episodes. It has several other names such as Racquet Boys, Raket Sonyeondan, Racket Boy Squad, Lakessonyeondan, Raketsonyeondan, Racket Boy Band, and Racket Boy Scouts. Racket Boys: Dropping Teaser Poster
Racket Boys has dropped one teaser poster recently that is heartwarming and entertaining. The teaser showcases stars such as Tang Jun-sang, Lee Ji-won, Lee Jae-in, Son Sang-Yeon, Kim Kang-hoon, and Choi Hyun-Wook. The teaser poster reveals a rural village backdrop beautiful picturesque. It revealed the badminton players from middle school Yoon Hae-gang, Bang Yun-dam, Lee Han-sol, Na Woo-chan, and Han Se-Yoon. They were chasing after the city bus while lining up in a row. The scene adds optimism and hopes with the shuttlecock’s tiny graphics, colourful dots scattering throughout the sky, and white feathers.
There is also a phrase in the center that welcomes and asks is it the first time in a village situated at the Earth’s edge. The production company stated about the teaser poster giving a sneak peek at the Racket Boys refreshing scenes. Furthermore, they hoped that bright, cool, and clean nature would visit everyone’s home and reduce their tiredness in such difficult times. They hope to make everyone smile and introduce a lovely process of healing. Racket Boys is scheduled for release on May 31 on SBS at 10 p.m. KST. It will also premiere on Netflix.
Racket Boys: Unveiling Characters and the First Teaser
Racket Boys leading characters stills got also dropped along with the first teaser. They are Yoon Hyeon-jong, Yoon Hae-gang, Ra Yeong-Ja, Han Se-Yoon, Lee Yong-tae, Lee Han-sol, Nau-chan, and Bang Yun-dam. Kim Sang-Kyung, Tang Joon-sang, Oh Na-Ra, Lee Jae-in, Kim Kang-hoon, Lee Ji-won, Choi Hyun-wook, and Sun Sang-yeon. The supporting characters are depicted by Jung Min-Seong, Park Hye-Joo, Shin Jung-Geun, Kim Min-Gi, Woo Hyun, Baek Ji-won, and Cha Mi-Kyung. The first teaser got dropped on April 30, 2021. It is of 42 seconds.
The teaser of Racket Boys starts inside an empty school gymnasium. The school principal and the head of the village, Hong Yi-Jang, are in the gymnasium. The principal began to introduce the badminton players one by one when Mr. Hong calls for them. Lee Yong-tae is the first one who is the only middle schooler from the second year on the team. However, he idolizes Lee Yong-Dae, a badminton player, besides knowing a lot about badminton.
Bang Yun-dam is the captain of the team. He has the dream of reaching Instagram followers of 100,000 and is an attention lover. Na Woo-chan is the next one that is a friendly and jolly student. He is also known as the fashion king and hip-hop star of the school. Yoon Hae-gang is the final one who is a transfer student. He is Seoul’s competitive and passionate baseball player. Han Se-Yoon and Lee Han-sol joined the boys.
A sneak peeks into the Oh Na-ra and Kim Sang-Kyung character stills are also provided as coach Ra Yeong-Ja and Yoon Hyeon-jong. In professional badminton, Coach Ra is the living legend. She is a strong present woman and is a confident one. On the other hand, Hyeon-Jong was a national player once. However, he has currently become a middle school badminton team’s coach. He is a kind and cheerful mentor, although, looks strict on the outside.
