Allu Arjun embraced our screens with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo last year, and now he will hit our screens once again through Pushpa. We still feel the movie’s vibe, and we cant move on from that. If something can is another flick from the South Star, but this time, it seems he is coming in a new avatar. The upcoming Sukumar directorial Pushpa brings in some much-needed action we are looking for this year. Action is one element the movie is hyped upon if we leave the star-studded cast fest aside. Pushpa is bringing the hit trio of Sukumar, music composer Devi Sri Prasad and Arjun himself. The trio is known for the hits such as Arya and Arya 2. These movies were the reason behind Allu Arjun becoming the star he is known today. So as cool and stylish as those films might have portrayed Arjun, Pushpa will be something far different from what we saw there. So let’s break down everything we know about Pushpa’s release date, storyline, and everyone else joining the film this year.
Pushpa Release Date
Pushpa is releasing on 13 August 2021 in theatres around India. It will be the first part of the Pushpa duology. There is a second part that will see a subsequent release next year in 2022. The film will be a multilingual action film. It will see a release in five different languages. First, the original in which it is shot, as in Tamil. Then the dubbed versions in the languages of Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada.
The movie was facing quite delays when the crew of Pushpa was shifting their shoot to Kerala. During their shoot in December last year, six crew members tested positive in Vishakhapatnam, resulting in a suspension of the shoot. There were chances of the movie getting pushed to October if film RRR receives a push. Lastly, a full push to December a week before Christmas, which is filled with festive vibes.
Now it seems like after considering all the factors, the creators decided to divide the film instead. Thus releasing the first part this year. The creators of Pushpa released a statement saying that the growth of storyline and characters is what encouraged them to divide the film into two parts. Furthermore, the excitement from the audience after the release of Pushpa’s introduction teaser was phenomenal. This further encouraged the creators on their decision to continue the plan. As they know, they have the best stars, artists, and technicians, which will leave the audience thrilled. Plus have a lasting impact of movie and cinemas on them.

Pushpa Plot – What Is The Allu Arjun Starrer All About?
The creators of the film haven’t revealed much about the storyline of Pushpa. But all we know is the story will be based around the smuggling of red sander trees in Seshachalam forest, Andhra Pradesh. Allu Arjun will play the role of the titular character as in Pushpa Raj. A Lorry driver who is part of this illegal business. The official teaser of Pushpa introducing the titular character opens up to showcase the beautiful forest locations the movie has been shot at. These include places such as the Maredumilli forest in Andhra Pradesh.
We see the sander trees falling upon and local signaling. The next we see is our titular character probably running from the cops. The next we see is the shot shifting to the character riding a bike through the forest. We have a look into the life of the rugged avatar Allu Arjun is portraying. Some action sequences as well a car chases sequence. These sequences could be part of a six-minute sequence which the creators say cost ₹6 crores, and intensive training from the international stuntman for the main lead Allu Arjun.

The Cast – Who Is Helming The Sukumar Directorial?
As mentioned a number of times above, it’s obvious Allu Arjun is the lead of the Pushpa. Only his character has been revealed with him playing the titular character of Pushpa Raj. Joining Allu Arjun is another South star Fahadh Faasil in an unspecified role. Faasil is already riding the wave of Joji. Pushpa will only further take him to another level this year. Rashmika Mandanna joins the film as the female lead. The rest of the supporting cast of Pushpa includes the names of Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, Sunil, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Urvashi Rautela.
