Once again, Niantic caught trainers off-guard and surprised them with an update. Pokemon Go players will soon be able to fight Rayquaza, the flying- and dragon-type legendary that is best remembered as the cover star of Pokemon Emerald. When it begins to appear in Raid battles on Feb. 9, Rayquaza will mark the third Hoenn-region legendary Pokemon to be available in the mobile game.
Pokemon fans were making out all the speculation regarding who will be the next raid boss, which Niantic cleared in their post.Niantic post revealed many important aspects and future of Pokemon Go raid boss.Rayquaza the Fling and Dragon-type Pokemon first appeared in Pokemon Ruby and Saphire on the GameBoy Advance, and now Pokemon Go users will be able to add the Sky High creature to their growing Pokedexes if they’re lucky. From February 9 until March 16, trainers will be able to discover and catch the fearsome Pokemon in Raid Battles around the world.
Rayquaza will be accompanied by several other Dragon and Flying-type Pokemon originally from the Hoenn region, that will also be making their first appearance in Pokemon GO starting Friday the 9th. In celebration of over 100 Hoenn region Pokemon becoming available in the game, every Pokemon encountered in the wild from now until February 13 will be one originally discovered in the Hoenn region.Which will make catching and spawn of Generation 3 Pokemon easier than ever.
This is the last wave of Generation 3 Pokemon which players awaited, now we trainers wait for the launch of all legendary Pokemon.Trainers have already fought Kyogre and Groudon, with this release they will find Rayquaza as well which will make Legendary Trio Collection complete.

Prepare for exciting new adventures as you encounter even more Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region on February 9! Alongside several Flying- and Dragon-type Pokémon appearing in Pokémon GO for the first time, the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will descend from the ozone layer and become available in Raid Battles for a limited time.
In celebration, Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region will take over wild encounters until February 13. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to catch powerful Pokémon such as Salamence, Altaria, Metagross, and more!
The Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will be appearing in Raid Battles in Gyms near you until March 16. You’ll also have a chance to battle the Legendary Water-type Pokémon Kyogre before it swims away on February 14. Will you be the first to catch all three ancient Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region?
Even more surprises await nearby! In addition to these Pokémon being available in the wild, you might see some different Pokémon in Raid Battles at your nearby Gym, and from hatched Eggs.
With all of these Pokémon to catch and power up, it’s important to stock up on supplies. Starting February 9, new special boxes–which include Raid Passes, Incubators, and Star Pieces–will be available in the in-game store until February 23. In addition, Lure Modules will remain activated for six hours until February 23! These items will be perfect aids in your Pokémon GO adventure.

Pokemon Go’s New Event Already Started Without Any Official Announcement
Pokemon Go is having all Pink Pokemon spawned all around the Pokemon Go Town.Niantic is yet to announce anything in proportion to support this as a new valentine event.Last year Pokemon Go celebrated Valentine’s Day celebrations were available from February 8 to February 15 and included its own special bonuses.Last year ahead of Valentine’s Day, developers, Niantic has released details of its latest Pokémon Go update.Trainers earned double the amount of Candy every time they catch, hatch and transfer Pokémon.
This year there has been no such announcement made yet although, trainers around the world are reporting spawn of PINK Pokemon.One trainer uploaded a picture of him surrounded by bunch of Pink Pokemon which includes Slowpoke, Luvdisca, and Corsola
This Pink event will spaw all PINK Pokemon from Generation 1, Generation 2 and, Generation 3.
Earlier data miners at Silph Road found that the game’s latest update contained everything Niantic needs to get some single-player story quests into the game, opening the door to new assignments from Professor Willow, confrontations with Team Rocket or whatever else the developers desire.As Pokemon Go is already seen Pink spawns I guess its a right time to launch this feature to integrate it with new Event/Quest.
