Peacemaker Ending Explained: What Happens To Task Force X After Peacemaker?


After a series of eight episodes, the first season of peacemaker ends making it the great first DCEU TV show. Although the season ended up in quite a narrative manner, the return of justice league in the same and the appearance of the white dragon has created quite a confusion among the audience. Season 1 of the peacemaker rolls on its own drum standing out of the major storyline of DCEU which was certainly hyped up by James Gunn earlier before the release. Considering this, season 2 of the peacemaker will be quite an icebreaker answering certain suspenseful ends.

Season 1 undresses the major confusion of Judomaster helping the butterflies when all the butterflies’ allies started avoiding them. Judomaster who is referred to by Goth is seen crying by the butterflies signifying the humanity within. Judomaster comes with the sign of humankind who believed in the theory of peacemaker killing the cow was a big deal. Being an eyewitness of killing speer of humans in order to protect mankind, Judomaster explains the worthwhile sacrifice. However, the reason for a peacemaker to not kill the goth butterfly and having a continuous view of the white dragon hint down some points that are quite hard to understand.


Peacemaker’s Justice League Cameo Dropping Down Some Hints

Peacemaker is quite a different path for the DC channel. With Harcourt being carried away from the barn with the butterflies’ cow, justice league sure makes a way in the scenes. There is absolutely no sign of wonder woman and batman and we can vividly see the little conversation between Aquaman and The Flash. Also, Aquaman’s sex life is a talk in the peacemaker which torches the little humor peacemaker has been bringing to the table throughout the series.

The peacemaker comes with a few hints of the future DCEU teams. As a matter of fact, the characters were must be introduced in the silhouette which should’ve clarified the teams but the absence of Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill can be assumed the advent of scheduling for the cameo. Although after being announced the absence of Fisher it is quite imaginable that Cyborg will not make it to the team. Warner’s Bros along with Ray Fisher announced that Fisher will not be seen in further movies after his treatment at the hands of Joss Whedon.

Also, there was no sign of batman in the peacemaker which gives a little hint that he must’ve reached as soon as wonder woman did. Bruce Wayne is surely dropping some clues about his complexity in the DC films currently. But somehow the absence of batman in the cameo and even in th silhouette makes the peacemaker a little vulnerable in front of the DCEU TV shows. On the bright side, the peacemaker is somehow avoiding the speculations about the presence o the three in the shows.

The Significance Of White Dragon Explained

White Dragon is always seen mocking peacemaker at certain moments when he sees his father again and again. The white dragon makes fun of him by telling him that killing his father won’t be of any help as he makes the only reason for peacemaker killings and that he houses back in his mind. Even after raising that the fatherly figure in the woods and then in the trailer is not actually of his father, the peacemaker tries to kill him with a blowgun. Although the comics portray a different image of his father not being the white dragon but of the Nazi Wolfgang Schmidt. After encountering the death of his father at a very young age, the peacemaker is traumatized and is continuously haunted by the images of a white dragon in the movies.


Peacemaker Ending Explained

The end of the peacemaker season 1 concludes with Adebayo holding a conference about Task Force X and Project Butterfly. This news can provide an optimistic background that the  ARGUS’ Task Force X branch would be shut down by the news terminating the inhuman treatment of the prisoners. Favpurong that, Viola Davis’ small appearance in the cameo rather than being the main character gives a blur idea that there will be no suicide squad 3. Although, there can never be an end to Argus and people like waller will exist forever. However, Task Force X along with Waller will now be more public and less dominating and inhumane on the prisoners. In the end, the media representation signified chances of continuation of further discussion on whether the operations on the prisoners are right or wrong. And there is a possibility that the company will be continuing under a new name and new guidance. With people like Alex Jones in the picture, waller will find it difficult but will learn to live in the new ecosystem. Now the biggest suspense is where will Task Force X and Waller will continue their reign. They will either continue to operate either in suicide squad 3 or peacemaker season 2.
