He was born in the city of Rionegro, which is in Colombia. However, he was raised in the city of Medellín in Colombia, where he took his education. Pablo Escobar went to Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana situated in Medellín where he pursued his graduation. However, his graduation years at the University were short-lived as he left his education in the middle to engage in criminal activities. It was at his time when he decided to make a name for himself in the world of crime.
Although it was not easy for him always to remain on top of the crime business. He had to go to war with various other rival drug cartels who wanted to throw him out of power and gain control.
