In the world of One Piece, there are a lot of Devil Fruits, but only a few of them can be considered as rare. And those that are “rare” are usually referred to as “legendary”. So today I decided to make a list about them.
Let’s see it!
- HITO HITO NO MI (DAIBUTSU)
This is Sengoku’s Devil Fruit and, as we all know, it allows him to launch incredibly powerful shockwaves with only a palm thrust. Despite the fact, that we’ve never seen him fight. We know in the past, he was strong enough to fight equally against Roger.
- TORI TORI NO MI (PHOENIX)
This is the Mythical Zoan owned by Marco. Only two Mythical Zoans are known and one is exactly the model Phoenix, which allows the former Whitebeard’s first division commander to transform into an almost immortal blue fire-made phoenix.
- GURA GURA NO MI
This is Whitebeard’s Devil Fruit, which allowed him to create vibrations and shockwaves that are so strong that it’s possible it can destroy the world. In fact, it’s considered as the strongest one among the Paramecia-type class. It grants Whitebeard the ability to “hold” the air, and turn the sky, and the Earth upside down.
- OPE OPE NO MI
This is the fruit eaten by Trafalgar D. Law, which allows him to create a spherical territory, called “Room”. In which he can do almost whatever he wants. In addition, this Fruit is known as the “Ultimate Devil Fruit”, because it has the ability to grant the eternal youth to a person in exchange for its current user’s life.
- GORO GORO NO MI
This is the Logia-type Devil Fruit eaten by Enel, which he can control, create, and transform into electricity at will. Nico Robin once stated that this Fruit is one of the few considered as “invincible”, because Enel can make his heart restart beating even after having died.
- YAMI YAMI NO MI
This is probably the strongest Fruit in the whole series of One Piece. It allows Blackbeard to nullify other Devil Fruits abilities through physical contact and it can control darkness, thanks to which he is able to swallow everything and everyone that goes into his “Dark Hole”. Unlike the other Logia-type Devil Fruit, it doesn’t disperse to a non-solid form when a physical attack hits Blackbeard’s body and is probably due to the fact that, on the contrary, it would have been too overpowered.
