One Piece manga will enter an epic arc for March 2022, with Luffy and Kaidou’s battle almost decided. Back in Totto land, Luffy was distracted in his fight against Katakuru when a third party sneaked in an attack that could have led to his defeat. But Katakuri is a man of honor who decided to even things and deal the same damage to himself to make things fair for him.
But knowing Kaidou and how corny he is, we don’t see him bringing honor in this fight as even his Yonkou status is on the line. So it looks like he would do anything he could to win this fight, just like he did last time with Oden. Kaidou is reminded of his last fight with Oden when a third party intervened in their battle. Then he dealt a fatal blow to the distracted Oden, leading to his defeat and Kaidou taking over Wano.
He seems to be disturbed by this, but he still took the sneaky chance to deal fatal damage to Luffy, and things could not get any worse for him.
