One Piece Live Action begins production

One Piece is one of the most popular anime series in the world, as well as one of the longest-running, with over 1,000 episodes. It tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in their quest for the One Piece treasure. After hearing that One Piece Live Action would begin production, One Piece fans must be overjoyed and excited. Yes, we understand your enthusiasm. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about the series on this page, so read it all the way through. “One Piece” is essentially based on the concept of opposing powers. The forces of good and evil are represented by pirates, commanders, noble families, and a revolutionary army. The power of dreams is a major topic in the manga series, and it pushes the Straw Hat pirates to continue their journey regardless of the consequences. Almost every protagonist in the manga seems to have a supporting narrative in which their dreams are ultimately what motivates them, and even the villains have revealed that theirs were crushed at one point or another.

One Piece live-action television series is being created by Tomorrow Studios for Netflix that is adapted on the manga of the very same name. Along with Tomorrow Studios’ CEO Marty Adelstein and President Becky Clements, Eiichiro Oda will serve as executive producer on the show. Showrunner Steven Maeda is also an executive producer and writer for the program, with Matt Owens. Diego Gutierrez, Allison Weintraub, Ian Stokes, Lindsay Gelfand, Laura Jacqmin, Jason Cho, Damani Johnson, and Tom Hyndman are among the others who contributed to the book. Weekly Shonen Jump editor-in-chief Hiroyuki Nakano originally announced the series on July 21, 2017, to mark the manga’s 20th anniversary.

A listing for One Piece surfaced on Netflix on March 8, 2019, in the “American Programmes” category, but was quickly deleted the next day. While the first season was announced in January 2020, it resurfaced with the Netflix Original logo. Monkey D. One Piece Live Action Begins Production

More than two years after Netflix initially announced the project, work on the live-action adaptation of One Piece has finally commenced. Netflix released photographs of the core cast on set on February 2. “Luffy’s journey to becoming a Pirate King has just begun,” the caption said. Netflix also provided photographs of the set seats for executive producers Matt Owens and Steve Maeda in a second tweet. Matt Owens addressed adapting the series in a YouTube live stream organized by fans of the property in September 2020.

Owens stated that he held out hope to consider introducing the franchise to new audiences through the live-action adaptation and that the writers’ goal for each episode is to recreate the manga’s ability to make perusers “laugh,” “cry,” and “go ‘holy shit!'”. Nevertheless, the East Blue arc might be less episodic, and the humor will be tailored to contemporary Western sensibilities. Owens also revealed that after emphasizing how important the series had already been in his life, Oda gave his assent. In March 2021, Maeda posted a picture of an office door branded Project Roger on social media, implying that in-person production upon that series had restarted.

Monkey D. Luffy, a child whose body takes on the characteristics of rubber after eating a Devil Fruit, is the protagonist of One Piece, which was first released in 1997. He and his pals then embarked on a journey to discover the “One Piece” treasure and become pirate kings. Fourteen animated films and a long-running anime series have been produced based on the famous manga. Netflix initially revealed that a 10-episode live-action remake was in the works in January 2020. In September 2021, they unveiled the logo and confirmed that the series premiere episode would be titled “Romance Dawn” after the initial anime arc. The live-action series is yet to be given a specific premiere date.
