After the release of the manga earlier, One Piece fans will be hoping that the anime will provide them with another enthralling episode. The previous episode was amazing and I really doubt that anyone had any complaints about it except for the fact that the episode wasn’t longer. Now, before we begin, I would like to warn you that this post is full of spoilers and if you don’t like spoilers then it is advised that you stop reading right now. With that out of the way, let’s begin.
In the previous episode, we saw Katakuri finally figuring out what made Luffy prone to his attacks. Katakuri’s younger sister, Flampe had managed to use her silent needle technique to injure Luffy. Luffy was completely off balance and was struggling to even stand up. Katakuri managed to land a critical hit on Luffy with his spear.
However, after finding out that Luffy was attacked by her younger sister, Katakuri walked over to Flampe and her subordinates. She was expecting to be praised by Katakuri. But, Katakuri impaled his own stomach instead. Everyone present in the Mirror World was shocked by Katakuri’s behavior including Luffy who said that he wasn’t expecting a fair fight.
But, Katakuri wouldn’t have accepted such a victory. Towards the end of the episode, Katakuri and Luffy unleashed their Conqueror’s Haki. Due to the clash of Haki, Flampe and her subordinates fell down unconscious. Katakuri and Luffy proceeded to carry out their fight.
In the next episode, we will see Luffy trying to use the advanced form of observation haki in order to dodge Katakuri’s attacks and land a few of his own. But we all know that it won’t be so easy. Luffy will recall Rayleigh’s training while he continues to fight Katakuri. Katakuri won’t give Luffy any breathing space as he will be running out of stamina as well. The two of them can’t keep up for much longer.
The episode will be released on January 20, 2019.
