One Piece Chapter 1049 Raw Scans
In the last Chapter, Luffy’s gigantic punch, which is called “Bazrang Gun” (referring to the Monkey God, Hanuman), came down on Kaido. Kaido intended to take his punch head-on with his new flaming dragon form. The newest Chapter also begins right where the last Chapter ends with Kaido’s and Luffy’s Haki clashing. As Luffy’s punch is approaching Kaido, Kaido praises Luffy for coming this far. However, Kaido further states that Luffy will never be able to change the world. Then we go back to 46 years ago in the nation of Vodka, where Kaido was living and probably was born.
The flashback states that even when Kaido was ten years old, he was a beast. People would have a hard time believing even though Kaido was young, as he was powerful. Kaido has always hated the World Government and particularly the celestial dragons. Kaido was so out of control that his country offered him to be in the Navy because they could not handle him. However, the Navy could never sustain Kaido. Kaido even would let himself be captured so he could eat food on the Navy Ship. Just at the age of 13, Kaido had a bounty of 30 million berries.
At the age of 15, he was recruited by Whitebeard and Rocks himself to be a member of the Rocks Pirates. After the defeat of the Rocks pirates in the God Valley, he went ahead on his own. Ten years later, the incident of the God Valley took place; Kaido’s reign on Wano began when he was approached by the remnant of the Kozumi clan. Kaido states that from then (probably after Roger’s death), everything will revolve around the former members of the rocks pirates. As his flashback is about to end, Kaido tells King that he knows who Joy Boy is.
Samurais And Pirates
The panel turns back to Luffy and Kaido, where their attack seems to be clashing even more. The CP0 member is seen fleeing away from the battlefield. It seemed that he survived. Meanwhile, we have a look at all the Samurais and Pirates in the inferior castle of the Onigashima. Raizo and Jinbei are helping everyone with the water of Zou to save them from burning. Furthermore, Momonosuke is still struggling to move Onigashima out of the way and keep away from crashing into the Flower Capital. On the 2nd floor of Onigashima, we have a panel of Denjiro comforting Hiyori for enduring so much.
What Is The World You Wish For?
The title of the Chapter 1049 of One Piece is “The World You Wish For,” and it revolves around Kaido asking Luffy, what is the world he wishes for? Luffy is proceeding with his Bazrang Gun and continues to suppress Kaido. Kaido asks Luffy, “What kind of world do you wish to make?” Luffy lands his punch on Kaido, and he replies, “A world where my friends can eat as much as they like”. Kaido falls and reminisces about his conversation with King. He tells King, “Joy Boy is the Man who’ll be able to beat me one day!”.
Onigashima successfully lands on the side of Flower capital with Momo panting beside it and Luffy unconsciously falling. This marks the end of One Piece Chapter 1049. Unfortunately, the One Piece will be on break next week, and fans will have to wait a little longer for One Piece Chapter 1050.
