Hey everyone! One Piece 923 spoilers are out, and looks like in this week’s chapter is even better than last week’s. I think Wano is already starting to be my favorite arc in One Piece and things are only getting better as we move forward.
One Piece 923 Official Spoilers: Kaido vs. Luffy
The official spoilers have a lot of stuff that matches with our One Piece 923 predictions, and yes, Luffy and Kaido fight. The title of the chapter is Yonko Kaido vs. Luffy. If you’ve read my previous for this chapter, you probably know that I think it won’t end well for Luffy, and according to the spoilers, I hit the bullseye with my predictions. Anyway, here are the spoilers for One Piece Chapter 923:
“Kaido falls straight to the ground after being punched by Luffy. In order to determine the state of his friends, Luffy heads towards Oden Castle but discovers a battered Speed. She tells him that she was discovered by Kaido whilst heading towards Tama’s home and was defeated in battle by him, and was unable to protect Tama. Luffy regrets not completely seeing Tama home himself.
Law proposes, ” I don’t know what will transpire while Kaido is drunk. In the meantime, let’s escape!” However, Luffy refuses, “if I beat him now, it will be the end of all this! We don’t know whether Kinemon and the others as well as mine and your crew-members are okay!”
Luffy goes on to call Kaido, who barely recognizes the you. Luffy proclaims that he’ll be the King of the Pirates, and goes on take on Kaido. Kaido releases a Boro Breath but Luffy avoids it by jumping up into the air. Kaido returns to his human form and collapses to the ground while lying spread-eagled. However, Luffy doesn’t relax his efforts and transforms into Boundman, releasing a Kong Organ at Kaido.
Luffy fervently continues his barrage on Kaido. Around the time Luffy becomes tired and panting after his barrage of attacks, Kaido sobers up and stands up. He uses an attack with his club, called Thunder Divination. Kaido sends Luffy flying with his club. Luffy lies on the ground unconscious with blood running from his head. The chapter ends with Kaido taunting an unconscious Luffy by asking what kind of a Pirate King would a person like him become.
As you can see, the chapter is absolutely amazing. I wanted this fight to end with Luffy’s defeat because Luffy needs to know that he’s not on Yonko level right now. He needs to get stronger, and then fight Kaido on near equal terms. Kaido is just too powerful for him. The next chapter will be just as great as One Piece 923, and I hope that it will give us some more details on Kaido’s abilities.
