Just in, as four members of OMEGA X have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the group’s comeback schedule has been delayed. Spire Entertainment had announced that Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon had been tested positive for COVID-19. Thus, the agency had decided it would be better if the group’s upcoming comeback were pushed back a bit until the members recover and are in good condition to work. On January 9th’s announcement, OMEGA X’s company said that according to the health guidelines, Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyun, and Junghoon had been separated from the staff and the other group members as well. They continued to say that the four male kpop idols have already started their period of self-quarantine.
Furthermore, in its announcement, the company has also confirmed that all of the members of OMEGA X had been properly vaccinated. They also said that the members that tested negative for COVID-19, i.e., Hwicahan, HSebin, Taedong, Xen, Kevin, Hyuk, and Yechan, as well as the staff members, had also started their time in self-quarantine. So far, none of the uninfected members have shown any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever or breathing problems. Lastly, they asked for fans’ cooperation as OMEGA X will be delaying their comeback schedule and the activities they had planned for the upcoming two weeks.
What Was The Comeback Schedule Of OMEGA X?
The boy band had made their much-awaited comeback with their EP Love Me Like on January 5th. Fans couldn’t get enough of the track but were quite disappointed when they realized that they could not be able to support the OMEGA X with the promotions because the promotions themselves had been delayed.
OMEGA X’s fans were already planning for the whole comeback ever since January 16 and had started to save their money to buy the albums. At least you could buy their album! We wish the members of OMEGA X a speedy recovery so that they can come back and break many records and get many music show wins!
