The anime revolving around volleyball has successfully concluded four seasons, each of which was a big success. After Haikyuu season 4 concluded in 2020, the anime is making a comeback with a new mystery project. The Haikyuu manga written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate came to a conclusion in 2020 with 45 volumes. Is Haikyuu Season 5 Confirmed?
Season 4 of Haikyuu aired its last episode on 19 December 2020. The anime received many positive responses, and the hype for the next season rose. Now nearly a year later, the creators of the anime have announced the anime’s return with some new unnamed projects. Whether it’s a Haikyuu season 5 confirmation or not is still unknown. Regardless, we are definitely hyped for whatever the creators are going to announce.

Haikyuu will soon be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2022. To commemorate the occasion, Haikyuu is returning with a new project. While we do not know what this new project is going to be, the revelation will be made at the Jump Festa 2022 event, to be held on 18 and 19th December. Although it has not been confirmed, fans are expecting the staff to announce Haikyuu season 5 in the upcoming Jump Festa.
Given the time and rising manga sales, it could be possible that the unnamed project might be an announcement for the fifth season of Haikyuu or a possible OVA. Regardless, all we can do is wait to find out what the announcement will be about.
