‘My Sweet Dear’ is another ongoing BL k-drama on the fans’ list, and they are waiting for episode 5. Following the enemies to lovers trope, the k-drama sees the hate between the two turning into love. Chef Yoon Do Gun is one of the most amazing chefs out there. Working for Laura’s Dining, he even got the place a Michelin star, and his team loves him. But his wanting to experiment with new dishes doesn’t sit right with his boss, Laura. So she puts Jung Woo, another chef, and creates competition between them. With Do Gun trying to make amends and give his best to keep his work on, things do get hard from time to time.
As the office party goes on, other chefs give the mic to Jung Woo, asking him to sing. Jung Woo starts singing, and it doesn’t take Do Gun to get drunk and get his other self out. As the other chefs run out from the room, giving a warning to Jung Woo, Do Gun attacks him, biting his ear and falling asleep on him. Not knowing what to do, he takes him to his home. As Jung Woo looks at him before coming to bed, Do Gun drunkenly tells him that he is the only one to have control over the kitchen.

The Morning After
Waking up at an unknown place, Do Gun goes out to find Jung Woo cooking breakfast. As he takes the seat and waits for the food, Do Gun sees so many culinary books and Jung Woo’s cooking notes on the table. Calling each other’s rival, Jung Woo serves him the breakfast, that Do Gun goes on to cook again, adding some spices in the dish. They leave together after breakfast when Jung Woo offers him a ride. As he gets in the car, Do Gun gets to know Jung Woo has been learning through podcasts and videos.
Reaching the diner, Jae Hoon and Do Gun are prepping for the day when Jae Hoon tells him that Jung Woo is known for copying other chefs’ recipes. Thinking about the notes he saw, he defends him, saying copying a recipe isn’t that easy. As Do Gun goes in the store to get ingredients out, Jung Woo follows behind. But with the door being broken, both of them get locked inside. Not having their phones with them, they can’t call anyone either. With the temperature getting cold, both of them have a hard time when Jung Woo gives Do Gun his apron to cover himself.
Small Confessions
As they sit together, they go on to talk about things. From the rumors surrounding Jung Woo to him confessing to him that he doesn’t like cooking. But cooks just to feed himself. Wrapping his arms around Do Gun, Jung Woo cuddles into him as the temperature keeps falling down. Finally getting out of there, Do Gun text Jung Woo if he is okay. As Jung Woo is about to reply, he gets a call from Laura asking him about how things are going in the kitchen. Hearing that she is trying to take over all the rights of Do Gun’s special dish, Jung Woo isn’t happy with the task he is given.
