Suspiria will be launched in October 2018. The movie is a remake of the old Suspiria. The first news of the remake was revealed back in 2008? However, due to some financial reasons, the movie was canceled. Then in September 2015, it was confirmed that the movie would be made once again, and it was scheduled for production.

Guadagnino described that he wanted the movie to act as a tribute to the old movie. The photography was done in 2016 and 2017 in Varese and Berlin. The movie premiered at the 75th International. Suspiria will also be premiere as a limited release in Los Angeles and New York. It will be released by Amazon Studios on October 26, 2018. The movie will open worldwide on November 2, 2018.

The movie has an interesting plot. It set in the year 1977, and it focuses on Susie Bannion, who is a young American girl. She travels to Berlin for an audition at the Markos Dance Academy. She has never been trained by someone but, her natural talent actually mesmerizing the director of the company and choreographer, Madame Blanc.

She gets admitted into the Academy, and she meets Sara. Susie gets several hints that the Academy is run by Witches. Her suspicion begins to increase after some time. Susie also finds some research material left by Sara’s friends. The research is about “The Three Mothers”: Mater Suspiriorum (Mother of Sighs), Mater Tenebrarum (Mother of Darkness), and Mater Lachrymarum (Mother of Tears).
