New additions for Shonen Jump’s Jump Force game are revealed in the latest issue of the V-Jump. This time, the game decided to add the collection with characters from the Dragon Ball series. Jump Force Update: Cell And Piccolo Announced

According to ryokutya2089, Cell and Piccolo will be joining the roster of playable characters. It was not confirmed in this Jump Force update if the two will have their final forms (with Piccolo being fused with Kami and Nail and Perfect Cell). Though it is very likely that the two will also have their most powerful forms like the others did.

Last week, Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, as well as Golden Frieza, was announced to be added as transformations in Jump Force. The Dragon Ball (Z/Super) series is currently tied with One Piece when it comes to the number of representatives with five characters present. Currently, Hunter X Hunter got the most number of representative in the game having six characters. This might still change before its release date in February next year.

As per techniques, it is possible that Cell and Piccolo will have finishers identical to what they had on some Dragon Ball fighting games. Piccolo will have his Special Beam Canon as his finisher while Cell using Hell’s Buster with Frieza on the team will be interesting. Ryuk and Light Yagami are also teased in the latest issue of V-Jump. However, there is no news about their role in the game. The only thing we know about them is that they’re non-playable characters.

Jump Force is expected to arrive on the shelves on February 14 next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Japan. The game will be released in the US and Europe on February 15.
