Jung Ki Hoon, a former archaeologist, is the protagonist of the narrative. His life is constantly threatened by unforeseen events. Monstrous- First Look Of The Teaser Unveiled
TVING has unveiled the first poster for their forthcoming original series “Monstrous” on February 28th. The poster confirmed that “Monstrous” will be released in April.
The ‘gwibul’- a Buddhist statue possessed by an evil demon, appears to be the construct of the narrative. The poster contained a phrase, ‘I shouldn’t have done it,’ supposedly spoken by the silhouetted individual standing in front of the sculpture. Did the man allow the creature out in the world? Is he regretting it already? Or is he the genius pulling all the strings?
‘Monstrous’- A Preview on It’s Cast and Characters
Koo Kyo Hwan will play the character named Jung Ki Hoon. He is a former archaeologist who investigates strange unexplained occurrences. Shin Hyun Bin portrays the role of Lee Soo Jin, Jung Ki Hoon’s ex-wife. She is also a former archaeologist who is also an expert decoder who decided to go to Jinyang County when her only kid died. She will also encounter some form of the mysterious phenomenon, which will add to the show’s thrill and suspense.
Then there’s Kim Ji Young, who plays Han Seok Hee, the police substation chief. When she enters the drama, she elevates it to a new level with her steady and persistent leadership abilities. She makes the show worth watching through her performance.
Park Ho San portrays Governor Kwon Jong Soo. He is a governor who works, not simply for fun. He is spotted working and creating the design for his new development plan in the village premises on the day of the catastrophe. Moving on, in the show, Nam Da Reum plays Han Seok Hee’s son. Looking at his character, he appears to be someone who is tough to catch. So, yeah, when he enters the drama, things are expected to become more complicated.
Lastly, Kwak Dong Yeon portrays none other than the ‘troublemaker,’ Kwak Yong Joo. ‘Vincenzo’ fame Dong Yeon got unconditional love when he was killed off the show. Many fans hoped he had gotten his happy ending that time, given the fact that his desires are never granted. But will he find his happily ever after here?
