What To Expect From The Update?
With update 1.18, players are expecting nothing less. The Minecraft team did release information regarding what to expect in the new update but didn’t share any gameplay footage. Though, just like any other product, Minecraft did have its fair share of leaks too. We got a look at all things new in the game. First up, Dripstone cave. The newest edition to the Minecraft world is a block called Dripstone. As the name suggests, it will be a cave with dripstones on the ceiling. You can use it to collect water or lava, or whatever the cave is in the mood of gifting. Then we also have noise caves, lush caves, and caves in general.
The new update will have a ton of new features. One such is the new bundles feature. This feature is specifically designed to help players with inventory management. Players will be able to create bags where they can place a certain amount of items. The overall capacity of the bag is not known at the moment. Bundles can also be stored in chests. This feature is a lifesaver, no more going back to empty the current inventory while mining deep for diamonds. There is one more thing that the update would bring along called the Deep Dark Biome. There is not any info regarding it available yet.
Another interesting change that the update will bring along is of the biomes. The patch notes state that desert or forest could form up on the hill without the help of a special or certain biome. Also, mobs that spawn in dark will only spawn in a completely dark area rather than a dim-lit one. One more major change coming along is that of the terrain limit. Players can now reach a maximum depth of -64. Earlier, the limit was 0, after which you can dig further. And this is where you will find new varieties of iron, copper, and gemstone blocks.
Will The Update Live Upto The Expectations
From what the leaks suggest and the company’s claim, it is safe to say that the update will be a total blast. We are yet to know the official release date, but it is for sure dropping this year. Unless a new life-threatening virus comes along and spreads pandemic. AGAIN. Well, all we will say is keep playing, keep on grinding and stay tuned for the latest updates with us.
