Many independent game developing companies have risen to great heights in recent years. Further, many of them even managed to take down some big game developers like Rockstar and Ubisoft. Like we already saw the indie company Ninja Theory rising to fame and bagging many awards for their video game series, Hellblade. There is no doubt that many more such independent game developers will rise to glory soon. Therefore, it would be challenging for the big names to dominate the market until they develop something new and exciting.
Recently at the Game Awards 2021, many trailers were revealed of upcoming video games. One such forthcoming game is a rhythm-based shooter, Metal: Hellsinger. There has been hype around the game since early 2021. The game is not a simple first-person shooter as the players need to shoot at beat to earn the maximum points on every kill. The independent Swedish game development company, The Outsiders, developed this game and will release for multiple platforms like Playstation, Xbox, and even Microsoft Windows. Let’s see the Metal: Hellsinger release date and more about the game.

What To Expect From The Upcoming Rythm-Based Shooter?
The upcoming video game from the independent development company, The Outsiders, has already gained quite attention because of the unique genre. When the makers released the gameplay trailer, there was hype among the gamers for Metal: Hellsinger. Cause the game has a similar vibe to the infamous first-person shooter video game, DOOM. However, the twist to the shooter video game is the touch of rhythm-based video games.
Undoubtedly, every gamer loves to play first-person shooter games while rocking some metal music in the background. But this game brings both genres together. In the gameplay trailer, we witnessed players getting points for shooting down their enemies. However, if the players attack their enemies on the beat, they get more points in the game. So you all might need to focus on the music, too, while looking for your enemies.
As for the gameplay, we saw that Metal: Hellinger has magnificent graphics and smooth gameplay. Many fans are already comparing the visuals to the likes of DOOM. Undoubtedly, the game has mind-blowing visuals and smooth gameplay because the team who worked on the game comes from years of experience. This upcoming 2021 rhythm-based shooter isn’t a project of some novice game developers. Apart from the visuals and gameplay, the fascinating aspect of this video game is its rhythm-based genre. And as the game’s name itself suggest that the game would have a mind-blowing soundtrack. The game will feature a great collection of metal songs by phenomenal artists like the Heavy metal star Matt Heafy from Trivium. Heafy further revealed the entire list of artists working on the soundtrack of this game.
The list includes big names like Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, James Dorton from Black Crown Initiate, Dennis Lyxzén from Refused, Tatiana Shmailyuk from Jinjer, Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquillity, Björn Strid from Soilwork, and Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy.
