The UEFA Champions League is getting close now, and with just over a week to go, clubs are now announcing their squads for the Champions League 2018/19 campaign. Finishing 2nd in the Premier League last season, Manchester United secured an easy place in the Champions League although the group that they’ve been allotted to is a decent one.
Manchester United are in Group H where they have to face Juventus from Italy, Valencia from Spain, and Young Boys from Switzerland. Contention for the top spot is definitely going to be between Manchester United and Juventus, but United haven’t fared too well against Spanish teams recently, and last year’s defeat to Sevilla is proof of that. Nonetheless, the Red Devils have announced a strong squad, and they certainly are capable of going all the way, but will Jose Mourinho’s men be able to pull it off is a different question entirely.

Here’s Manchester United’s full squad that will be available for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League 2018/19:

Marcus Rashford surprisingly missed out, but can still be available to play since Rashford can be registered on the ‘B’ list of players who were born after 1 Jan 1997, and have been eligible to play for the club for more than 2 years. The club can also make changes to the squad should Man United qualify for the Knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League.
Manchester United play their first match of the UEFA Champions League 2018/19 campaign on 19 September, 2018, against BSC Young Boys. Fans expect an easy victory for United in this one, but the team has looked shaky in the past few weeks, and if they don’t sort things out sooner, United may have a tough time against BSC Young Boys as well.
