The Magic: The Gathering is originally a Japanese card game that is going to receive a special cinematic which will be produced by Wit Studio (the produced first three seasons of Attack On Titan, Owari no Seraph, Vinland Saga, Spy x Family, Pokemon movies et cetera). The cinematic will be released for its new game’s upcoming expansion known as Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, which is set to release on February 15. The animation will also feature a new song from the Japanese band called ‘Ling Tosite Sigure’.

The cinematic’s staff includes famous people such as maxilla’s Yuki Kamiya as the director, storyboarder and unit director, Ebisu Takuma as the character designer and animation director, Masaru Hashimoto as the color designer, Hirofumi Sakagami as the art director, and Keisuke Nozawa as the photography director. Masanobu Hiraoka did the gorgeous special effects animation, while maxilla’s Matsuno Takahito and Charles Chung were in charge of the Three-Dimensional Computer Graphics. The cinematic truly features how amazing the 3D graphics are. It’ll make the players feel as if they’re inside the game!

This move was taken for the game’s upcoming expansion, which is known as Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. This cinematic has been produced to give the audience the true essence of what’s waiting for them. The best part of all this is that it will release very soon, on February 16, 2022 noon (UTC+8). For those who are unfamiliar, WIT Studio has previously done the animation for Attack on Titan’s first three seasons.
Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming set – Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, is the return of a popular card game that was introduced back in 2004. The original set was heavily inspired by Japanese historical aesthetics, and it featured deities, kami (gods and spirits), ninjas, samurais, and even animal spirits. This time, the game of Neon Dynasty is going to have an amazing futuristic and cyberpunk feel to it while still retaining the old traditional, recognizable art form.
