Lucifer Season 4: Cast, Spoilers, Release Date, And Kevin Alejandro’s Role In Season Four

The fans of Lucifer series will be breathing a sigh of relief after the show was saved by Netflix. It was announced that the show would be cancelled by FOX, but Netflix stepped in and saved it. The fans were crucial for saving the series from going down. When the news came out Tom Ellis went to Twitter to show his joy. He tweeted —

“WE DID IT !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for your continued support and love for #Lucifer I am so happy for all our fans I’m going to burst.” #LuciferSeason4 on @Netflix wow that sounds nice. You fans made this happen. #LuciFansrock #Lucifersaved.”

The showrunners of Lucifer, Joe Henderson, and Ildu Modrovich talked about the show’s production starting in August 2018. The production is expected to be finished in December. We won’t be getting the fourth season of Lucifer this year. It will come out in 2019.

Along with the news about the renewal, there was some bad news as well. The fourth season of Lucifer will be the shortest season of the series so far. The first season has 13 episodes but, the fourth season will have just ten episodes; if you consider the number of the third season (24) it is a very big drop.

Lucifer Season 4

Moving on to the cast of the series. The main cast is adored by the audience so, the members of the main cast will definitely return for the fourth season. Here is the possible cast for season four of Lucifer —

Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar
Lauren German as Chloe Decker
Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza
DB Woodside as Amenadiel
Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen
Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez
Rachael Harris as Dr Linda Martin.

Kevin Alejandro revealed that in season four, he’s going to have a tussle with his inner self. He said that Dan would have a lot of anger following Charlotte’s death.

“He will find himself wondering if he’s been playing ‘the good cop’ & that maybe Pierce was right about him all along when he said, ‘You are the corrupt cop.’ Dan would have blamed Lucifer for Charlotte’s death so the antagonism between them would have been heightened. Like I said, a whole new world…”, he added.
