Several manga books that get released often get a huge response but no anime adaptation. However, more than a decade after its conclusion, the Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer anime adaptation has been announced. Fans of the original work are hyped up for yet another interesting fantasy story to unravel in moving pictures. The story of the manga is filled with magical elements that can make anyone feel the vibes of a fairy tale. However, through its goofy and magical plot, the manga continues to place realistic questions and darker themes. Fans have waited a long time to watch it get an anime release, and the wish has finally been granted.

Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer is a manga series written and illustrated by Satoshi Mizukami. The fantasy comedy was published by Shōnen Gahōsha in 2005. It was serialized in the Young King OURs magazine from 2005 till 2010. The manga was compiled into 10 Volumes, each of which was translated to English and published by JManga and Seven Seas Entertainment. It is also produced digitally by Crunchyroll.

Lucifer And The Biscuit Hammer Release Date

On 24 January 2022, it was announced that a Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer anime is under the making. The anime adaptation will be released in July 2022. It is directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi. The original mangaka of the series, Satoshi Mizukami, is compiling the scripts alongside Yuichiro Momose.

Plot

The central character of the manga is a college-going student named Yuuhi Amamiya. When a talking lizard tells him that he is the chosen one, the Beast Knight, he is not interested. As a Beast Knight, he is destined to assist the Princess to defeat a mage who wants to destroy the world. His weapon is a piece of equipment called the Biscuit Hammer. Yuuhi couldn’t care less until he meets the Princess he is destined to help, Samidare Asahina. While she does seek to defeat the mage, her goals are rather unexpected. She wants to stop the mage from destroying the world as she seeks to destroy it instead. Interested in the sudden turn of events, Yuuhi takes on the Biscuit Hammer and decides to help the Princess.
